Sakonna

Add an additional 1 Weapon Upgrade slot to your Upgrade bar.
All of your Weapon Upgrades with a cost of 5 or less cost -2 SP

During the Roll Attack Dice step of the Combat Phase, if you roll a hit or critical result on each one of your dice with this attack, continue rolling 1 additional dice, one at a time, until you do not roll a hit or critical result (max 3 additional dice). Add all additional hit and critical results from the additional dice to your total for this attack. Any blank or battlestation results from the additional dice are not added.
And I liked Eddington's screen time........and Siskos solution to him.
I think Sakonna is the big card to take away from here.....but I do like the 'keep rolling' aspect of the Focused Particle Beam, it looks both effective and fun.
So one more for each (current main) faction hmmm.....
Already know the OS-Romulan BoP....
I would imagine that the Dominion will be the scarab (we already have 2 of the Breen), and the Klingons will most likely be another BoP (another B'Rel hopefully?).....Federation......I wouldn't mind seeing the Rhode Island as another Nova Class.
Anyone else have thoughts for the other 3?
But I like the power levels that we're seeing in this pack, definitely some usable things, nothing crazy so far (unless it's for my Romulans, that can be as crazy as Chris wants to go. ).
It is almost upon us! Are you prepared for the Quarmageddon?
I really like this ship - it's a reasonably tough and evasive weapons platform - that is the kind of ship I'd like to run torpedoes on, but that's just me. I'll take three, please.
Yep. Tons of fun in this one. But Teri needs to re-add her build. Unless I'm missing something she's two points over the 30 pt build restriction.
Maybe she has saved a couple points from her first 90 in anticipation. She might have been planning on a 118 build fort Initiative purposes but decided to make do with the points from the ship she opened.

I agree that Sakonna is the takeaway from here. I mentioned this earlier but the only other upgrade that adds weapon slots is an LE prize. Additionally, if you're taking two weapons on any ship, she more than pays for herself. She also has great synergy with this ship just because you don't lose anything from disabling her after the fact.
Hijack is really cool, and I'd love to see how this works out with all of the new high cost Tech and Weapon upgrades out there. It definitely feels like it was built with the current meta in mind.
The Focused Particle Beam is kinda meh for me. Even with stuff to reroll dice, you're really banking on getting a lot of successes on a weapon that could more easily just do one or two damage. For that cost, I'd rather be able to roll 4 or 5 dice without the conditions.
I'm super happy we got Eddington and Suder. They're not bad, but the fact that those characters actually got made makes me happy.
Overall, I really like the 22 point ship with a few different ways to get to 30 even. I full expect that we'll get more similar setups since it's so easy to work with.
It appears to be the equivalent of an LE pack (without the Tech slot they doubled up on crew) that we have seen so far in Attack Wing.
I agree, except this is a full priced booster and as such should come with everything a full priced booster comes with. I know I'm nitpicking, but it sucks that Wizkids is forcing blind purchases and skimping out on what is inside them at the same time. I guess I'm feeling a bit ripped off
I think there might be more because in the video she said this was her build's pick. She shows off no extra Captain or any other possible upgrade and the way it is intimated there would be many options

I was hoping that would be the case. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

I agree.
But I don't really think they should overload these packs either*.......more content that can only be gotten at these events will just make people who can't get them easily groan louder.
It's probably too much to judge the Tournament Brick ships on just this one, but I would think that having just enough in the pack for only a few choices will probably be the better way to go to assist in team construction.
*Could you imagine if there was a pack like Voyager in one of these things?

I don't think WK is forcing you to buy them. And while I have not heard of one player that actually spoke to their venue and asked them not to bring in the packs as that would be their preference, any player that had access to a store running the OP program could have requested (or at least added their vote) to not bring them in.
If you did that, or got voted down or some such that's unfortunate............but I'm sure there are many players who would be happy to trade/acquire a ship pack you are unsatisfied with.
I personally talked to our Venue, all of the regulars and some of the occasionals (as I could find them) and we all agreed that we wanted to bring them in.
Did you ask your venue(s) to not bring them in, and let them know of your preference?

Blah, blah, blah. We really don't need to restart the same discussion again and derail the thread again. Suffice it to say your pro Wizkids and the blind booster model does not bother you in the slightest. I'm anti Wizkids and think there is no place for the blind model in attack wing. I wish to know exactly what I am buying and don't want to be stuck with 3 of the same ships because Wizkids decided they want to add blind boosters to the scene. No one is saying they don't want the ships or want their venues to forgo them. We can go round and round on this all day, but neither of us is going to agree with the other, so why bother?
