This is the Iron Man I've been waiting for. Awesome sculpt, and an exceptionally versatile dial.

I will never be happy with this Iron Man solely because he doesn't have the "Armor" keyword.

Hey look, an Iron Man nobody wants from a team no one wanted him on! Hooray!

On the bright side he's a super rare so odds are he wont be polluting tons of booster with his stink.
On the down side, what a horrible SR to pull.

I knew the tone of your post was jocular. Believe me, I realize most folks want less Iron Man figures...but I just can't get enough.

I won't be happy until I have a 50/75 point Iron Man with TK, Barrier and Prob! And a 400 point one with Power Cosmic which can target through anything! And and and...

This guy won me a doop at gencon. He gave me 200 points when I hit him twice with major victory.

Personally, I think he'd be more worth the points on both dials if he started with outwit. Nonetheless, I still want this guy really badly!

I agree that he is not the greatest Iron Man ever made or in modern age, but there is build potential that people are missing. I play Avengers theme teams all the time and if you use gotg003 Mantis and him at either of his values you can make two attacks in one turn. Think about it.

200 Points: Perplex up damage, then mind control with Mantis to Hypersonic out and shoot through all of their characters to land 5 damage on a support piece. Then in the same turn Iron Man does the double power hypersonic to make another attack for 4 damage on same or other character and then run back to cover.

150 Points: Same concept except you running shot out with an 11 attack psychic blast (because of Mantis' mind control) with 4 damage and two arrows. Then in the same turn Iron Man does the double power hypersonic to make another attack for 3 damage on same or other character and then run back to cover.

I don't think that's possible.

MODULAR THRUSTERS: Iron Man can use Running Shot. Give Iron Man a double power action and he can use Hypersonic Speed as a free action, modifying his speed and range values by +2.

Mind Control: Give this character a close or ranged combat action (minimum range value 4) that deals no damage. A successfully hit target becomes friendly to your force. Each target hit may be assigned one action as a free action....

I don't think you can do what you stated. I'm open to correction.

@mithril ax: Mantis can Mind Control a friendly adjacent character. The double power action regardless of how many tokens would or would not be placed still counts as one action. The attack that comes free from hypersonic would also be legal.

That is why you can mind control to do charge, running shot, or hypersonic and do the attack.
