Greetings; am wondering if anyone has compiled a database of dial images. I have seen a few sites that allow you to print up dials one at a time, but that would be time consuming.
Mainly interested in re-dialing my pre-carded figures with modern game stats.
Also, wondering if there is any file out there compiling the dial stat lines as per the HCRealms resource section. Would like to print several on one page per expansion.
Also just a heads up, you will not be able to play modified figs at some venues if you've modified their dials, as it may give you an unfair advantage.

I may disagree with your opinions, but I will always respect them.

Won't be a worry as I am only playing friendly games at this point. Not into the whole competitive gaming scene at any rate.
If you don't care about being competitive, why bother updating old dials to make them more competitive?
In his other thread he specifically references Hobgoblin. I think the point is to make the character usable at all, rather than "competitive" in a tournament setting.
I always view sets as having maybe 5 to 6 characters on average that fit the competitive demographic. That means many of the figures for collectors and comic fans need some help, particularly older stuff that started bad and never got updated.

first, where did he mentioned "competitive"as being one of his objectives ? i don't see it... aren't you a little putting words in his mouth in his place ?
As i perceive it, perhaps he don't want to make them "competitive" but rather to make the dial designs more "coherent" in the sense of making them play together smoothly and in a balanced way
i have the same objective, except i'm modifying new dials to play in a coherent way with older designs instead of the contrary
also not everybody has access to alot of figure/dials, so as Ace0Spadez83 said, if you don't have access to more recent SR hobgoblin, updating an old goblin can be the solution for casual play
and finally, there are alot of players who also come from the "pen & paper" rpg hobbies, they are USED to modify/tweak EVERY single game they get their hands on to make it fit to their own perception of what the game should be. And it's fun ! Tweaking an existing game is one of MY favorite hobbies...

Did he use the word competitive? No, but was it very heavily implied? Certainly.

What is the biggest difference between old stats and current stats? The older figures' stats aren't as competitive. It is a reasonable assumption that this is being done to bring the old figures' stats in line with the current ones. In other words, it sure sounds a whole lot like he's saying he wants to boost the stats of the old figures to make them competitive relative to their modern age counterparts.

...a far more extreme example of putting words in his mouth?
