TRASHCAN LIDS: Static starts the game with 3 Trashcan Lid tokens on his character card. Immediately after Static rolls a d6 for Super Senses, he may remove Trashcan Lid tokens from his card; for each token removed, modify the result of his d6 roll +1. Give Static a power action and remove an adjacent heavy object from the game; if you do, place a Trashcan Lid token on his character card.
The Trashcan Lid tokens are not a combat value, and their quantity is not being modified, so can he take the power action to add a token even if he already has three? If he can't remove more than three to modify his roll by more than three, that's not an issue, I'm just wondering if he can have more than he started with.

Nothing in that description states there is an upper limit to the number of Lid tokens; only that he *starts* with 3.

Rule of 3 has no bearing on any d6 roll in clix. It only matters to combat values. In this case most of the time more than 3 won't usually matter but what of someone causes a penalty on Super Senses (Captain Britain, off the top of my head)?
