I've tried to ask on the official wizkids forum to no avail.

If I'm playing Black Talon and a resource that gives my figures a 'once per turn' effect, can I use that friendly mind control to activate the the same effect more than once a turn? I'm wondering since once per game effects can be done twice this way.

An example with Book of the Skull, would I be able to give a power action to a friendly figure to drop a hammer during my turn, then mind control a friendly figure to do the same effect as a free action?

I think it's in the Player's Guide (which I can't access at work), but when you mind control a figure, you can't use anything that they have outside of their dial unless it was gained after the game started... in the case of friendly MC, I think that still follows so you couldn't MC a figure and use their Resource.

With that being said... why not just have the MCer take the power action to drop the Hammer?


...Oh wait... you mean to have 3 Hammers dropped in one turn? No, that's not an effect of any figure, but the Resource itself (and you can't MC a Resource at all).
