Pulled this guy today. His traits are cool and the clean slate program will be fun. But 250 points for 7 clicks seems a bit much. I'll run him to see how it goes but I'm not holding my breath.
I guess if your opponent is kind enough to wait until turn 7 to start the fight,
then Iron Man can use his Trait to bring in 4 Iron Legion and justify some of that bloated cost.

I took out a 300 point Martian Manhunter with this guy. I was only playing Tony and an Iron Legion(plus occasional reinforcements). This is one of those ones that looks better in game than on paper. The Invincible is sprinkled throughout pretty well, making it hard to predict how hard you need to hit him. Usually when you hit him, he hits back harder, or can Outwit your abilities.
I noticed, but for 50 points less gotg is still much more manuverable id say. But I want to try him with a yellow battery and keep summoning the legion and give them a construct so you have a bunch of negative perplexes on top of the minus two theyd probably already have for attacking a 250 point character. That may keep him safe enough. If they cant hit you it doesnt really matter if you only have 7 clix or 100.
He's going to have to get some serious mileage out of those traits if he wants to be worth that 250 price tag. But with the right supporting characters and some strategy I can see this piece pulling it off ok. The Nick Fury from this set is a great choice for helping Tony crank out an army asap
Have a question about his trait... If you hit an opposing character but do not have any Iron Legion figures, can your opponent still choose the option of letting you put one of those figures into the game, which would not have any effect?
This figure is going to be extremely painful to play against, especially when paired with elements like possession by Ion, add an all-Green Power Battery (with up to three green constructs), and at least 4 (preferably many more) Iron Legion figures outside the game ready to come in.
Adam Warlock is 250 points and only has 7 clicks. This ironman is nothing new....it's supposed to be mk 43 but if you compare him to ANY of the MK 42 dials he fails in comparison. I hate to see force blast on such an expensive piece. However he does have move and attack which makes force blast look like less of a waste. His stats are a bit low....players should stop being surprised when they see short dials. If you haven't noticed that's where the game is heading....less damage and more damage control has to be balanced with shorter dials or else matches would last forever. This dial is usable at this point value...players are underestimating summoning an iron legion with a mere action. But his 185 point dial is horrid...Also why is thors 200 point dial better than iron man's 250 pt dial? (Although Thor being stronger IS accurate)
Fortunately this isn't the only ironman that can summon an army...heck there are ironman from different sets that can do similar things.

Yes. Unlike Thanos his trait doesn't say you can't choose an option that would have no effect, so that would be a totally valid move.

I thought I remembered something going in the PG about never being able to choose an impossible option from an ability unless all options are impossible. I could be wrong. If I am, they really need to add this so we don't have powers that don't work like they're so painfully obviously meant to because they didn't include one sentence.
