This is a hell of a piece for 90 points... A bit fragile, and needs some help to approach (TK works well), but very effective once he is up there.

I could see him being somewhat meta for the fact that zombie team bases are still a thing and boy does he f**k zombies Super Skrull good bye all he needs is an entity and a sniper woot woot. Once war o light goes next year and zombies run rampant he will shine just watch.

Holy Crap! I just realized this guy's 90 Points! Oh man, gonna make a great addition to the Excalibur Themed Teams. Movement Special Power is excellent, two solid options and opponents could overlook the Ignore Characters. I like "progression" Dials like this with powers packed together, very cool. Think I'll be adding this bloke to my collection

point being: You are overreacting to this figure. Most(if not all) of the Zombies have great dials for the points even without the Z-Virus trait. They will be able to get rid of this Brit with little problem if played properly.

Am I remembering this wrong and you guys are completely overreacting? I thought the effect of his trait would go away when he was dead because it doesn't say "even if this is lost"... although that memory is based on Sabretooth (where it is a power, not a trait).
On the flip side of that, it gives a rather easy answer... KO him before he can hit you. He's only got a 5 range (yes, I know... Sniper Rifle) and isn't infallible. Or if you're REALLY concerned about him, then build a second team when you bring your Zombies to a game... if you see anyone with Union Jack on their team, use the "alternate"... if not, use the Zombies. ;)

I think he'll be an awesome secondary attacker. If you're fielding a zombies team alpha strike the crap out of him!!! I most certainly don't think its the end of zombie teams in general.

An almost perfect representation of the crafty and reliable Chapman. Good combat values and tons of options make him work so well. Taking a hit and still trucking is nice too. He has the benefit of being solid stat and power wise all dial.

If anyone should get bonuses to monsters, it should be characters like Union Jack who's specialty is actually hunting vampires. Maybe people don't like the trait, but it's accurate.

My only comment on zombies, is that if you play these guys enough that people are going to pack this guy in every tournament, Union Jack might not be the problem.You might need to change your teams up once in a while and don't brag days for weeks leading up to a tournament about your unique snowflake Chase collection.

It's awesome having my favorite characters get turned into such great neutralizers.

Just to toss two round coins into the previous discussion, if this guy's presence on the map completely disrupts a Z-Virus team... I don't know. I can't help you? Maybe nobody can? Maybe you posted all of this before Balls of Fury was a thing and now have completely different Heroclix terrors.

As far as the prime goes, I just pulled him today and he's pretty great. My only real complaint is I wish he had IM or IT: Ignores Hindering. Great, economical toolbox figure.
