Yes. Any character named Captain Marvel (so even the CD LE with that name) or real name Mar-Vell. What I would like to know is if this could be combined with the the Cosmic Control Rod to gain +1 to stats for a turn?

Giving a power action to bring in a powerhouse while also spreading Outwit-immunity and Willpower to your adjacent friendlies for a turn for 5 points? Yessir. This can be a clutch strategic move, unlike some of the less interesting Inspirations. I'd wager using a low-cost piece to bring in a cheap Cap will see more utility than the big ones.

My choice for best ID figure are the Prime Captain Marvel from GotG (love Defend with high defense and the +1 def for all non-Kree). Mind you, this is for teams without an already existing prime figure on their team.

The only "Shazam" that qualifies is the Collateral Damage Mary LE.
