I'M IN ALL THE TIMELINES SIMULTANEOUSLY:: At the beginning of your turn, remove all Timeline tokens from this card, roll a d6, and place a number of Timeline tokens on this card equal to half the result. Remove a Timeline token from Zoom's card and he can immediately use Probability Control, even if he has done so already this turn.

(It's basically fl047 Zoom with +2 to all stats, Power Cosmic, and Impervious)

Here's the 400 point team you can construct with Zoom (from the Flash set) that turns him into this beast by turn 3 without any tactics whatsoever (except for one special object).

Short explanation:
Recorder chooses Zoom to benefit from his trait, Mandroid tk's telephone booth adjacent to starting area, use 2 Blind Als to Booby trap and telephone booth Recorder down to his last click; the third Blind Al knocks Layla Miller to click 3 and all this is by turn 2; Recorder activates Godkiller, Layla resurrects him, next turn Recorder Godkillers a second time, giving Zoom +2 to all stats, Impervious, Power Cosmic, and making him a colossal on your third turn.

So how viable is this team? Is it worth the 3 turns and the 396 points?

It's still susceptible to Pulse-Wave and round 2 everyone will know what to expect but the first player you face should be fairly annoyed, I suppose.

Is this a "could I" build or does this sound like fun for you to use?

I like the concept quite a bit. Unless you need Mandroid for more than the phonebooth TK, you could save yourself some points by taking out Mandroid and assigning the Double-Time feat to Recorder #451.

Made me wish KC Flash was a scientist.

The telephone booth is a special object, hence it's tactics. Just sayin'.

I think Zoom is still vulnerable to anyone with Outsiders, high mobility, and good stats, such as Koriand'r. She's one of the best anti-speedster pieces around. And if she's backed up by a solid team, then the Super Zoom is in trouble, especially if your opponent is playing aggressively.

In fact, since she's not unique, I'd say a team of 4x Koriand'r would be very tough to handle. You might not even survive to round three. Our maybe 3x Koriand'r and Cosmic Boy (slosh001). Fuggedaboudit.

Jade (GLC) is a nice 151 pt outside to build a team around.

Jade plus Kyle (180) is 331, leaving 69 pts for GLC support.
