helps to quote things for those who are less familiar with the figures involved:
Quote
[Damage] Watcher's Eyes to See Secrets: Nick Fury can use Probability Control. Give Nick Fury a free action and choose a power that an opposing character within range and line of fire can use. That character can't use that power until your next turn.
"Can't use" is not countering, it's "can't use". So things that can't be countered ... can be "can't used".
Lots of things prevent countering of powers; to date nothing can prevent a can't use effect
Can't use and counter are different animals, different section of the zoo, different feeding schedules (i.e. they are not the same thing)
Perfect. just what I needed, I knew I was right but my cousin wouldn't give it up. Kicked his ass though KC with no support will never last, something he just doesn't get I guess

There isn't much without support that will lost long.
I may be stupid but, wouldn't all of this be a "No" Cause Nick's Watcher's Eye says "choose a Power" not a Team Ability?
The recent KC figures have this:
Quote
WE WILL MAKE THINGS RIGHT AGAIN: Superman's combat values can only be modified by powers or abilities from characters with "Kingdom Come team ability symbol". Superman's powers and abilities can only be countered by powers or abilities from characters with "Kingdom Come team ability symbol".
The OP is asking if Nick Fury can still use his effect against a character with this trait.
He can because he is not countering anything.
The title is misleading as it has nothing to do with the KC TA.
Did I miss something, did the KC TA change yet again? Last iteration I saw, it only provided the 5-6 save against Range Attacks.
the original KC TA is that you get a 1-2 I think save on close combat. my cousin thought he got both saves when you actually only get the 5-6. so you are right. it is still the 5-6 save.

Not sure where you got that from, but as far as I know, it never did anything of the sort. Until this recent change with the release of Worlds Finest, KC was the same TA as Hypertime.

If I were to guess, it's because they probably played against KC figures with close combat characters. And mistook the "unable to move to a square adjacent" with "unable to attack."
Or something.
That's my best guess.
