For 80 points, this is ridiculous. 20 defense speedster that gets to move out of line of fire of your target before you make an attack. Pair that up with his late-dial Flurry, when he also gets prob, and you have the mixture for an undercosted, overpowered figure. If that wasn't enough he can give the rest of his Syndicate buddies Probability Control with their newly acquired 11 attack value. [Edit: I read him as being Common but he is a Rare, rendering the deleted portion moot.]
He's so good that if I pull him, which shouldn't be too hard, I'd have to resist the urge to play him on every team I build.

It might not seem meaningful, but laughter is the best medicine.
Yeah, kinda sad I have a dupe for trade of the Quicksilver, sadly this figure which is a rare is vastly superior compared to the SR Quicksilver that now is garbage-- makes me wonder why they come out with figures like this? Is it to bring more balance to the game or is it just make newer pieces more desirable and thus ensuring players to buy the new and more powerful pieces?
I LOVE sinister syndicate and I don't see any reason why he won't be on every single theme team I make with the keyword.
BUT..... the symbiote's in the set all have plasticity which is his Achilles heel (pun intended) but they still have to go through that 20 defence which is absolutely meta level crazy. He can't crack through any defences himself so that may be a big problem in sealed as well. He also doesn't get his amazing special until the 3rd click and Quicksilver has it right away. Overall an amazing figure that's 100% a keeper for me.
How is this guy only 5 points more than uxm054 Quicksilver? I mean, sure, there are technically tradeoffs, but most of them work in Speed Demon's favor in my opinion even if he didn't have Indom to top it off...and he DOES have Indom to top it off. Looks like the Unity Division trait is aspensive but granting PC to friendlies isn't? Oh well, I know what team I'M abusing when Superior Foes hits the shelves.

No. What makes this wicked is that it's only a rare!!!
So I guess goodbye to UXM Quicksilver and what he's worth... This indomitable speedster is the one that's we're gonna be seeing more.
(Seems like Flash also ain't got nuthin on the Marvel speedsters.)
While I think he's a wicked addition to Marvel speedsters, I still think we'll see Quicksilver around. Pietro may not have indomitable, but he still has top loaded hypersonic flurry. This guy is more defensive and can get more ground covered in two rounds. Both are amazing, but both on the same team would be devastating.
the real reason why he is so much better than quicksilver is that his speed shadow is more overpowered. unlike QS where you want the shadow next to an opposing character you want to leave his shadow next to some friendlies with empower because his shadow treats characters as adjacent compared to attacking through it so hypersonic out and hit for 11/6 with 3 empowerers next to the marker. and with indom do it again next turn.
@Jmendez52: no, you just mentioned why Speed Demon *is* better, because for the cost of giving Quicksilver Super Strength, Speed Demon can get it too, but Speed Demon has more options after doing so. Anything Quicksilver can do through his speed shadow, Speed Demon can do that + more, and comes in a set where there are figures that can be adjacent to the Shadow and still use their "Superior to the Other Guys" trait and the Sin Syn TA through it to give him attack value and a power he doesn't have. I do agree that there are trade-offs (QS gets the Flurry trick on top and can heal with X-Friends, QS gets Super Senses and PS natively, QS can move and still use the X-TA if not attacking), but SD gets more options through the Shadow, a more reliable way to stay at or above 10 attack, better native action efficiency and the extra defense boost, and his own PC when he gets his Flurry. The main choice point comes from Flurry on top with native 3 damage or Flurry at the back where you need to still have ways to get buffed. Or, more realistically since they don't exist in a vaccuum fighting each other, the pit crew you plan on keeping with each. QS has killer pit crew options to keep him buffed, top-click, and rampaging. SD has more overall options and efficiency, but would need dedicated healing to make up for his lack of having the X-heal-battery option.
