Yes, you read that right, not one but TWO figures have been banned from ROCtober!

Grey Gage and Jack Frost

Due to extremly limited availablilty and no official release date the ROC Board has decided to ban those two figures from all ROCtober events.

We hope this doesn't ruin anyone's plans but we are doing this to make this event as fair as possible for everyone attending.

Now, should you have any extra Grey Gage's or Jack Frost's...

Best bet might be to go no resources, but allow relics and equipment

I have wanted the game to be like this for a long time so I could have fun during competitive. I really didn't like using resources and am excited for the next set rotation for that reason.

Well sat is just figures..so there is always that

I wish they would make a Jack Frost....and a Red Raven, and a Blue Diamond, and a Jeff Mace.

I swear this complaint that every roc event needs to be resources free bug the heck outta me, nothing against those people personally. There are specific roc events for that. If you don't wanna buy or run resource don't complain and just play in no resource events a.k.a ROC LIMITED, play without one, or don't show up at all. Don't penalize people who do play resources and put money into the game to win.
Sorry if in this post I come off as a dink but I guess everyone has an opinion on what competitiveness is.

If your asking am I against bans I am for the most part with certain exceptions. If it isn't a situation that makes it impossible for the opposing character to play I do not think it is a problem. OG Faust was a problem and the ROC team took the correct choice of action until he was no longer a problem. With that being said I have faith in the ROC team.

For the record though the reason these figures were banned is because of very limited distribution and right before the Cup. Same thing that WizKids does for Con Exclusives released during or just before Worlds.

Not only that but I have seen two emails from WizKids in reply as to when the figures would be legal for play. The first email said in October but the second email corrected the first email and said it was under discussion and the figures may not be legal for the WKO's in November.

Where are these two figures from?
