Been flying rebels for a while now.

Most recently Rey & Poe with various shenanigans, such as using Poe with PTL and BB-8, revealing a green, doing the barrel roll, PTL to focus, get a stress, do the green and immediately clear it, to then take another action.

But last weekend, Poe was just wasted by a Tie Swarm.

So ... considering the following 99 point Imperial build:

5 x Black Order plus Crack Shot (14+1 = 15 times 5)
1 x Howl Runner plus PLT and Stealth Device.

Idea is to keep Howl Runner alive as long as possible with PLT (evade, focus) and the Stealth Device, all while the other 5 just lay waste to my opponent's winning condition (which in my case was Poe).

Thoughts?

I haven't ever flown a Tie Swarm build, so this would be my test of my mettle as an X-Wing player ...

And it means I need to buy more ships as we don't have 6 Ties and don't have 5 Crack Shot cards (though I may proxy with color copies for this weekend's event - hush, don't tell anyone).

Never been a fan of Tie swarms but I may not have the patience. Plus why Tie when you can Defend? (stress-free K-Turns!!!!)



I fly scum most of the time. But we don't play super-competitive at my venue.

My new find has been Kad Solus (Protectorate Starfighter) with wired (a hull upgrade helps too!). Even when I fly him poorly he seems to survive!

Kavil (Y-Wing) with an ion cannon/unhinged astromech

PROXIES!?!?!?! We have a rule at my venue that you can use the UK fleet builder tools and print out your cards with a gentlemen's understanding that you don't use cards you don't actually own (saves major time on cleanup!).
