I always felt that the Jedi had a very flawed philosophy to begin with. Denying ALL emotions is a pretty easy way to fall, since all sentient beings have them. So I think that's why Luke feels like the Jedi have to "end." Because really, the Jedi and Sith are two extremist values (one is all control, the other no control at all) that don't accurately reflect reality.
Hell, if Anakin didn't feel ostracized for his feelings towards Padme, he'd probably open up to Yoda, they'd catch Palpatine, and then we'd have this instead of the original trilogy.

Doesn't really do much for me. I guess it's not supposed to? A bunch of flash and some inspiring music isn't going to get me excited after the last one.
I'll see this, of course. I was pleasantly surprised by TFA.
This is Mark Hamill's big chance to show the world that he is a serious actor. C'mon, Mark! Take the heart and timing that you invest in Joker voice-work and pour it into your signature character!
I am really not interested in . . .
--A shot-for-shot remake of Empire. TFA's biggest flaw was too much reliance on Ep IV.
--A CGI Leia (or stand-in with digitally-altered face). Please please no.

Well, Carrie shot her Ep 8 scenes in full from what I understand, and they decided not to put her in Ep 9 the last I heard.

I was sorely disappointed with TFA (though I liked Rogue One), but I'm hoping this one is better. I'm not at all invested into these new characters, so it's tough for me to be excited to see more of them, but I'm gonna watch it, hoping to see Luke in action again (as I was hoping to see in TFA)
