Can you equip Proteus and Eclipso on the same figure?

Also, who would be the most effective, yet ridiculous figure to boost from President Lex Luthor?

From the Rules E&C thread on the WIN, under "Equip":

Quote

[C]A character can’t normally be equipped with more than one game element.

[C]If a character equipped with an item is equipped with a second item, the previously equipped item will be KO’d and scored for your opponent if appropriate.
