Looking for some suggestions to make a fun, semi competitive team with Deadpool, Merc With A Mouth.

I finally got him yesterday and I am at a loss as to where to fit him in. I usually have trouble making non-theme teams and generally stick with those when in a pinch. I wanted to bring him to my venue in a few weeks for a 400-point event. For what it's worth, I have almost every figure (unfortunately don't have AoA Magneto, because I'd love to make him an X-man!).

He appears pretty good with his attacks and seems to me like a primary attacker. Adding SR Scarlet Witch would be a no-brainer, especially during his Bullet Time.

What teams would you think he would compliment? What teams would support him best? Thanks!

Judging by the last ROC I was in, if he can't ignore hindering for movement, he's a liability. I want it to be otherwise, but the stupid boxing ring shuts everything without IM down. Maybe equip him with the Hulkbuster piece which gives flight and toughness. Lets him last a little longer with that free action heal.

I played him last night with ADW Captain America SR, and TV Spider-Man.
Old Man cap removes tokens from characters who heal on a 4-6.
TV Spider-Man heals 1 click when another character heals.

I was thinking about Hulkbuster pieces. The Flight/Toughness is the best thing. Probably throw a Colossal Retaliation figure or Jean Grey to get DP to the torso as quickly as possible.

The nice thing about my venue is that it is relatively casual. No one is dropping too many huge LE figures to muck up the matches. I should be okay without Improved Targeting. Maybe.

I was thinking about that! I also wanted him for a Marvel Knights Fast Forces team. One of the players at my venue had one, but he sold it instead of trading me. =( C'est la vie!
