James allows Jeremiah to rant a bit, and then they talk teams, spotlight some Martial Artists, and look at the first three dials previewed from Harley Quinn and the Gotham Girls.
I know I'm going to be a bit of a TMNT fanboy here, but I found the choices for Martial Artist just laughable. There are so many great martial artists in TMNT that stick out so much better to me. I know, the picks here were probably more sentimental than anything, but there are so many great pieces in that keyword! Maybe some were mentioned in other podcasts, and I get it if that's the case. I don't usually pay much attention to that section, but I really like Martial Artist. Here are some of my favorite picks from that keyword, as my opinion clashes with your opinion in a fight to the death! In all fairness, I'll also keep it down to Marvel/Indy/DC.
Especially with all the special equipment floating around now, this Leonardo is really solid for his points. He provides a shooter that the TMNT lacks, but even just on his own, he can easily be a 12/13 attack Running Shot + Penetrating Blast. The potential to also remove something like a Proteus, Eclipso, or Bloodaxe is also really solid. You can't rely on that ability, but a coin flip to counter equipment is still a pretty unique ability to have. Thematically, he's also really interesting as he changes between 3 different modes throughout his dial. Mid-dial, he's a jack of all trades, able to function equally as well up close as he can at range and also providing Empower for his buddy (I often don't even notice it as I land a hit with a bunch of TMNT nearby and suddenly I've got 2 or 3 Empower pieces nearby). Late dial, yeah he technically can shoot, but he's really going to be most effective up close. I just have to admire the story this thing tells all throughout and the versatility he brings.
That Iron Fist nearly sold the FF for me. 12/3 on a Charge, with the potential to follow up more with CCE later, a standard 18 defense with CR to shoot him up to a 20 up close?! This guy is all about getting into the fistfight and meaning serious business! He's easily pushable with his self-healing, too. ffjw001 Batman is incredibly similar, basically exchanging self-heal for stealth, both of which being incredibly useful abilities to have.
This Shiva is one of the few pieces from Arkham Origins that I feel still stands well. Granted, I'm such a stealth-lover I pretty much always pick the YGO forest, but she packs so much ability to get up to her victims for the kill! Ignoring hindering terrain and characters for movement, then getting Charge, EW, and PS with 11/3 is very respectable for her points. Keeping a 19 defense up close while holding stealth keeps her alive very well. No damage reducers, but really, I don't think of buff bois when I think of martial artists. Just keep her away from poison characters. I also didn't even notice she's got Indomitable to go along with all of this! I think the Joker's Wild Lady Shiva perfectly shows what she'd be like today, which is definitely a reasonable piece in her own right, but this one stands on her own amazingly well.
Honorable mention: Foot Ninjas, because black-robed generic ninjas are always in season.

Well, they DID say that there were so many more that they would choose if the format was more than their three choices each... They picked personal favorites which is what they always do...favorites of THEIRS. A lot of my own personal picks didn't make the cut either. My top choices (More than three) would be these:

Going back and relistening, where can I find this awesome team ability card you made, or is it pulled from the internet now? I want to print some to give out at my venues.
Way late edit (I was listening again at work and just wanted to pose the question quick) just to comment on your other picks. Overall, I absolutely love your taste. That Shiva & Batman almost made it on my 3. I like the AO Shiva over JW because I feel she'd be much more productive. The JW Shiva brings a 12 attack top dial for 50 though, which is amazing for Batman Enemy teams.
That Moondragon is definitely no joke, either. You can start off with some TK before a push has her bring the business! Getting to shoot a thing for penetrating damage and mind control is just nasty.
Of course that Shredder is rough. I feel he's got tough competition from his clone, but for 50 points you are definitely getting a solid attacker. He screams kamikaze strategy super hard. It's the kind of piece you could easily see getting a "fastball special," if only it had a team ability to actually get that feat. At the very least you could TK him up and he can run in Leroy Jenkins style. I can just imagine him paired with the YGO pieces Cannon Soldier and Catapult Turtle in terms of flavor.

Sorry that you didn't like our Martial Artist picks. As we said, we could easily do a few sequels to this list, as there are countless great Martial Artist pieces in the game.
As for the TAC, I put a photo of it up on HeroClix International Exchange a couple weeks back. It is still on there, but not in a print ready format. I don't often share my art files, as it leads to people profiting off my work.
