Great episode. I think you need to give Destroyer Thor 059a another look. Once they use up that miss, he is an undercosted killing machine and is a giant with PD.

He CAN be a killing machine, but my point that I was making was that he (Unless helped out) is going to be within 6 squares of an opponent to make an attack. Once he does, he is very likely going to be dog-piled on once they make you miss that attack...It's what I would do.

The trick to making Destroyer Thor more efficient is to have a free attack via "Crack the Case" on standby when his attack is invalidated by your opponent. If you have Nick the Fury on the same team, he'll get to make another FREE attack (targeting a character Nick has already attacked that turn).
I wouldn't ever play him at 125 points. Give him proper support with the cost difference, instead.
