Simple question but I just want to be sure. This trait DOES NOT work like stealth? In that if batman is standing in a square of hindering and that's the only hindering between batman and whoever is making the attack it does not block line of sight?

To answer your question, yes it will block line of fire. The line is drawn through his square, which is not open clear terrain, so it's blocked.

This... so much this. There's still debate and the unanswered question(s) about whether objects or even terrain on a different elevation would make the LOF blocked... hopefully WIN answers before the next major event where people may want to use him.

No. The trait only applies when Lines of Fire are drawn to Batman.

But it does mean he couldn't target himself with Perplex while in Hindering.

He cannot target himself with perplex in hindering, ruling on same page as the other one I linked.
