I played a sealed event last month and pulled two primes. I played two rounds and then my third round opponent called the judge over and protested me using two primes. The judge ruled in his favor. Yes I lost the game.

Since this was sealed using whatever boosters the store had on the shelves, I pulled two primes. I know in constructed I can only use one prime on my build force.

So can you play multiple primes in sealed?

No regardless of format, sealed/constructed, it's one Prime per force.

Battle royals are an exception

So I am fortunate to pull primes but I have one less figure to build my team with. Don't agree but a rule I will remember for future sealed events.

It's no different than playing two of the same unique. During a sealed using Capt. America I pulled identical boosters, each with a Cap Wolf.

It happens.

Correct and this is because you cannot help what you are passed.

In sealed, you (usually) won't be using all your figures anyway.

It is a good problem to have...

There used to be an exception in the Sealed rules that essentially ignored Uniqueness for team building. It's no longer there, but then again, the current tournament rules are not even close to comprehensive. So right now, this is a "ask your judge" thing.

Likewise, there is no exception made in the rules for Battle Royales.

In any Limited format, I still allow for the old exception. It's simply part of the nature of those formats.

In one of the BRs I played at Origins someone had 2 prime Signals. You play what you are passed.

A real world example...

Yeah, I had a friend pull a Prime pack during the Batman No Man's Land event. He just chose a prime he wanted to play, and shelved the other 4 figures.
