Let me explain a little bit. I want to utilize Skill Drain so that it works in my favor. There's one problem though. If I don't have it out, I'm not necessarilly screwed, but the deck won't work as well without it. I'm looking for ideas on how to make it better in that area, and in any way for that matter. You might think there's so many traps in here, but that's only because of skill drain, and all the others are important for almost any deck. Now, there's just one card in here that I'm sure you people are like, why is this in here? I'll tell you.
Slate Warrior: It's either him or some other 1900 beatstick, and it can't hurt to try, can it?
From what you've just been told about this deck, I'm sure you can fix it up a bit more. Help me out guys. Rat and Fix please.
I've tried a few different versions of skill drain decks and have found a few monsters that almost always end up giving me the upper hand. Heres my suggestion...
- 3 Slate Warrior
- 2 Berserk Gorrila
+ 3 Jirai Gumo
+ 2 Armor Exe
This way the lowest beatstick monster you have is the 2000 Gorilla. Jirai is a 2200 attacker with Skill Drain out, and a 2200 defender if you don't. Armor Exe is basically useless if you don't have Skill Drain out, but when you do he's a monstrous 2400 ATK 4 star beast.
The only real problem I've ran across is the early Jinzo. Skill Drain decks get raped if Jinzo hits the field sooner than expected, unless they have a backup plan. Exiled Force is a good choice for this problem, or just try and save your Smashing Grounds, Fissures, Etc. for Jinzo and/or BLS:EotB.
Either way, since M/T removal is a little harder now without Harpie's and 3 MST's, this deck can be a serious monster. Let me know what you think of these upgrades...
And by the way, I've never seen Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast, so if you'd be so kind as to tell me what it is I'd appreciate it.
and i should'nt use Armor Exe because you still have to remove those counters, so it would be destroyed in your next standby phase.
since i rated your deck would you rate mine?
