Put 3 counters on this card when you Normal Summon it. This card is not destroyed as a result of battle. If this card battles a monster, remove 1 counter from this card at the end of the Damage Step. If this card battles without a counter, destroy this card at the end of the Damage Step.

Ok, here is the thing, this card says normal summon. I know that it has six stars, and that means you can tribute summon it, but normal summon is for level 4 or lower. I know the answer should be you have to tribute for it, but I just want to be sure that I am not missing somthing.

A Tribute summon is still considered a normal summon, so you still have to offer a tribute for it.

As stated in the Rulebook, Normal Summon and Tribute Summon are the same thing. If a monster is being summoned from your hand without the assistance of another effect, it is a Normal Summon. If you have to sacrifice monsters in order to bring it out, so be it.
