When it comes to Special Summoning a Ritual or Requirement Monster from the Graveyard after it has been on the field, am I allowed to use cards such as Call of the Haunted or Premature Burial?
Or do I still have to apply the effect to get it back on the field?
For Example, Chaos Sorcerer has just been destroyed (not discarded), do I have use his effect to summon him or can I use one of the cards stated above?
And something else just occured due to summoning a Chaos Monster.
If Envoy of the Beginning was destroyed and sent to my opponent's Graveyard, am I allowed summon him on my side with his effect?
Once a card such as Chaos Sorc, or a ritual monster, and most fusions are properly summon(by the proper ritual spell cards, removing a light and dark, or by properly fusing them(fusion gate/poly) then they can be revived from the graveyard by normal means such as premature burial, monster reborn, call of the haunted.
There are a few exceptions to this, such as monsters that can ONLY be special summoned a certain way. Thos cards can NEVER be summoned from the graveyard or any other place outside of their intial summoning.
If your opponent's BLS were to be destroyed after it was properly summoned, yes you could summon it to your field with Autonomus action unit, or monster reborn since he was properly summoned.
Keep in mind if any of the monsters were returned the the hand, deck or fusion deck, all requirements are reset, and need to be meet again.

I meant if I were to use his effect.

If they were destroyed then sent to the graveyard, you could NOT use the method of removing a light/dark to summon them from the graveyard. You can only do that when they are in your hand.
All caps I use is just to add some emphasis, not for yelling.
1) "This card can only be Special Summoned by removing one LIGHT and one DARK monster in your Graveyard from play."
Sound familiar? This is the summoning requirement of the two Chaos Envoys and the Chaos Sorcerer. If you have met this requirement and the card is sent straight to the Graveyard, you are allowed to summon it again because it was properly summoned the first time around. The same thing goes for any monster that says "This card can only be Special Summoned by..."
2) "This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6."
This is the summoning requirement of Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8. Notice the difference in wording. With this card, there is only one way to summon it. Period. The only exception to the rule is with LV cards and Level Up! Otherwise, there is no other way to summon them. Sorcerer of Dark Magic can only be summoned by offering two Level six or higher Spellcasters. Archlord Zerato can only by summoned by offering Warrior of Zera while you have The Sanctuary in the Sky both on the field. Pretty much the same with Mazera DeVille, but Pandemonium has to be on the field instead.
In short, if it says "This card can only be Special Summoned by..." then you can summon it from the Graveyard without meeting the requirement again provided was summoned properly. But if the card says "This card cannot be Special Summoned except by..." then there's only one way to summon it. Period.
Thanks, but sorry Puzzler.
I already know of those rulings, but this is referring more to the Graveyard.
What I want to know now is if I had a chaos Monster in my Graveyard, am I allowed to use its summoning effect if I do not have any other means.
I've dueled a guy who has done this and I need to know for future reference.
You're asking if you can remove a Light and a Dark to Special Summon from the Graveyard without the use of such cards as Premature Burial and the like, yes? Well, you can't. You got screwed.
Basically, if it doesn't say it can be brought back from the Graveyard by Special Summoning, then it can't. In fact, there are only a handful of cards that bring themselves back, like Vampire Lord, Cockroach Knight, and a couple others that I can't remember ATM.
Isn't that what I said in my second post of this thread?

Yep, I guess the guy was not happy because I said destroyed, and not tributed, though it still fits his question.

If you properly Fusion Summon a Fusion monster, Ritual summon a Ritual monster or meet the special summoning requirements of a special summon only monster, you can use cards such as premature burial and call of the haunted to special summon it from your graveyard (you do not have to meet the requirements again unless it is sent back to your hand or deck somehow). The exceptions to this are one's that say such text like "This monster can only be special summoned through a Fusion summon..." or "This card cannot be special summoned except...." and so on.
In the case of Chaos Soldier, if he was properly special summoned by your opponent and then sent to the graveyard afterwards, you may use cards like Monster Reborn or Autonomous Action Unit to special summon to your side of the field from their graveyard. The same going for fusions, rituals and other special summon monsters (except for the one's with the text or similar text stated above)
