Every week we'll put up a "sticky" thread like this one so people can review and discuss the current weeks DC comics.
The threads will stay at the top of the DC Comics forum from Wednesday afternoon until the next Wednesday morning, after which time they'll be "unstuck" and return to their chronological spot in the forum, to be replaced by the current week's thread. Each thread will be marked with the ! icon.

Wow! This issue really blew me away! At least the ending did! I like the fact that DC is looking to have a new Hawk and Dove duo, as Dove sets off to find a new Hawk.
Crimson Avenger > what's up with her? She's helped the JSA before, and now she wants revenge against Wildcat?
Also, what is the deal with Power Girl? Is she or isn't she Kara Zor-L? I read in the Princes of Darkness story arc where she thought Arion was related to her, but he revealed that he wasn't.
I was really surprised to see her get shot like that! what are the bullets made of, and what did CA mean when she said that the guns wouldn't allow her to put them down?
Also, has Alex become the new Eclipso, sort to speak? Sure seems that way. Black Adam has now recruited him also. He's forming quite the team with Brainwave, Atom Smasher, Eclipso, himself and that other member (sorry can't recall the character). Is this the Injustice Society of America?
Really loving this series. Goyer and Johns have really done an exceelent job, in keeping me captivated and gripped.

Man this series has really been awesome through the first two issues.
I like Hector Hall as Dr. Fate. His character has been developed in a way, that he is Dr. Fate and is just trying to secure his confidence in that role. This series should erase all the doubts that Nabu has. In time, I think Hector will be the best Dr. Fate since Nabu himself was the Lord of Order.
I am under the impression that The Curse is not the only one who's testing Hector, I believe that Nabu is testing him as well.
It's also good to see Hector moving on, and getting past whatever it was that happened to Lyta. Though I'm sure he'll face this again sometime.
What's interesting is what role the covenant of wiccas will play in this. It seems like they genuinely want to help. But in the first issue, they gave off a different impression!
Dr. Fate is my third favorite DC character, and I hope that this helps him shine. He is a very powerful, but yet underrated character in the DC universe.
Can't wait to see this unfold.

Superman reveals that Martian Manhunter is not only "the most powerful being on earth".....but one of the few beings in the universe that he is actually afraid of!
I'm not convinced that Jonn and the Burning are one in the same. I think that the white Martian has take over Jonn.....
This has been a phenominal story line! Kind of picks up the lagging that has gone on since the Obsidian Age arc.
I've enjoyed it nonetheless.

Since Billy Jack asked this on the Marvel Thread....I thought I would post this here.
Webhead817> Might be a good idea to list the comics that are supposed to be released weekly, when you make the threads....just a suggestion!

I'm just glad that Geoff explained Deathstoke's unusual behavior. I was worried that one of my current favorite writers had ruined my favorite character. All in all this story is starting to shape up pretty good. And Brother Blood to come. It whets the appetite of this old Wolfman/Perez fan.
JLA#86
At least this comic is getting better. Since the Obsidian Age I was almost at the point of dropping this title. But it wasn't a real big surprise about J'onn. This is a much bigger step up than the last couple of storylines.

Not at all the snore-fest I feared this series would become, in fact I'm really digging it. Hector's got a lot to learn and the Curse might actually turn out to be a good villain. I'm always skeptical when a mini introduces a "new deadly foe" because it usually means they're silly and will be dropped without mention ever again (see JSA:All-Stars). I'd pick-up an ongoing if the quality remained as it is.
JSA: ALL STARS #5
Man, this series had such potential but it's been squandered and it is really hurting me to shell out for it. Granted each issue is marginally better than the last (so far) but all of these would be served better as back-up stories in the main mag.
And the 'wrapper' story is truly awful and doesn't seem to relate in any way to the individual issues. "The rest of the JSA is in great peril and I need to do something of great personal importance... time to have coffee with Mom?"
It's also a bummer because Sand's involvement places the entire series several in the past and it won't wrap up for months.
I'm sticking around for the few shining moments we get and for the potential of the Golden Age stories (which sadly have been floundering so far), but this mini's near the bottom of the list.
JSA #52
Good catch your breath issue. This is *exactly* what we needed, some sub-plot resolution and advancement before jumping directly into another multi-part epic. I was beginning to get fatigued with all the world saving. It looks like the creative team has hit their stride again in terms of timing. Wonderful follow-up to POD.
See Indy thread for my League of Extraordinary Gentlemen review.
Originally posted by Darth Sabre I was really surprised to see her get shot like that! what are the bullets made of, and what did CA mean when she said that the guns wouldn't allow her to put them down?
The guns (and therefore the bullets) are magical. She means what she said: the guns control her to a degree. They don't have triggers but fire of their own volition. She's more or less cursed to carry them until a certain degree of vengeance is met (I think there's a lot more to the story that we don't know yet). The cover art also hints that this version of the CA may be the ghost of Mr. Terrific's wife (can't remember if they met before she vanished in 'Stealing Thunder'). Anyway, a lot more of her story is laid out in one of the issues following 'Stealing Thunder').

The other member is Norda. Hints this issue also lead me to believe Jakeem's jealousy over Cap/Stargirl may lead him to Adam's group to 'prove' himself to Courtney. That would definitely help even things up between the two sides when the war starts and would be perfectly in character for Black Adam to manipulate Jakeem into something like that.

Thanks! I actually found out later about Norda.
Jakeem was really po'ed, wasn't he? That should be an interesting development.

Teen Titans three wowowowow the last page literally blew me away. It was totaly unexpected. Also are we having a sister blood now?
Zodiac no 1. Uhm okay a read it three times to get a handle on it. The story has potential but the read is confusing in the beginning. I am going to keep collecting it because the concept fascinates me.
Oh Formely Known as the Justice League,
Funny funny stuff. I loved that Mary Marvel. I haven't even got a boy friend yet. I may get stoned but i want this into a monthly. There's too many serious books out there.
