does mirror walls halving effect stay after it is destroyed and can element saurs negate sorcerer of dark magics trap effect i know the answer but one of my friends who is not good to be on his bad side says mirror wall stays in effect after it is destryed i know it don't work cause when i used it on the game

"Mirror Wall" 's effect disappear if the controller chooses not to the 2000 life points at his/her Standby Phase. "Element Saurus" does not negate the effect of "Sorcerer of Dark Magics", because it negates the effect of a monster it destroys, in this case, "Sorcerer of Dark Magics" can negate "Mirror Wall" and cannot even be destroyed by "Element Saurus".

1) No, Mirror Wall's effect no longer is active if it is not on the field.

2) Yes, if Element Saurs destroys Sorcer of Dark Magic as a result of battle, it will negate its effect, but it will not stop the the the destruction and negation of any Trap Cards it previously stopped. Also, negating its effect after it is destroyed becomes fairly pointless (because it is no longer on the field to negate Trap Cards).

If you are refering to its effect that prevents it being Special Summoned in any way other than what is printed on the card, then no. If that's not the effect that you're wondering about, please post which effect of Sorcer of Dark Magic you're refering to.
