when do you have to choose to activate bls effect--and can you divine wrath the attack twice effect is activated

If Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning attacks a monster, during the Damage Step the effect that allows the player controlling it will trigger (even if the player chooses not to attack again), at this point Divine Wrath can be used against that effect.

His attack twice effect is activated during your battle step, I think.... I also think that his remove from play effect happens during either main phase 1 or 2, your choice. And I also think that you can Divine Wrath his attack twice effect since the controller of BLS can choose not to use it. That's my two cents.......

Currently, the secondary effect of BLS activates in the damage step after a monster has been considered to be destroyed.

The removal effect occurs during a main phase.

Divine Wrath may negate either one of these effects.
