At the stanby phase before the discarding effect of mirage is resolved Player A returns sinister serpent from his graveyard to his hand. Then during the effect of mirage sinister serpent is one of the randomely discarded cards putting it back in the graveyard. After the effect of Mirage, still during the standby phase, can Sinister serpent be returned to the hand a 2nd time. :eek:

yes you can do this. you can return serpent to your hand at anytime that it exists in the graveyard during your standby phase, even if you had retrieved it earlier in the standby phase and then it was sent to gy again.

There is only one situation where this may or may not work and that involves Divine Wrath. We are still awaiting word on that.
