Can you use Controller and Phoenix like that? In other words, does tributing (a cost) = destroyed?

Just got my answer, no, if controller is used to tribute/sac phoenix then the phoenix will not be coming back. In other words, Tributed/Sacrificed =/= Destroyed

Take out the Good Goblin House Keepings for Assault on Goblin HQ. It specificly says destroy, and will mill your opponent's top two off their deck.

Everybodys telling me to take out the GGHK
I took them out for 2 Feather of the Phoenixes.
Anybody else want to help?
