Oops! I peeked! lol
I'd live to see an Ice Emperor- Moebius in this deck. Nuttin' wrong with f/d spell/trap destruction lol. This deck's a winner!
9.1/10
Looks standard... not much help but all I can really say is to try and maybe fit in 2 creature swaps for your scapegoats. I would maybe suggest taking the bottomless traps holes for them, but i guess it just depends on how good they work for you.
So... what, is the text or the JAP names the problem? Oh well...
Mobius is something I want to try. But Airknight is insane in Aggro. Totally killz everyone... Jinzo is also great, but I may work a Mobius in for him or Airknight.
Injection is great, too. I just want damage as fast as possible.
Same for BTH, but I'll play around with 2x Swap in here just to see... I can see giving a goat being a very nice card here for field clearing and damage... but BTH is pretty set.
Thanks for all the r/f's! Some good stuff, I hadn't really been thinking about Swaps... I'll get to decks.
Well firstly, you should use the ENG names in the TCG Depot. The JPN names belong in the OCG depot.
But as far as the deck itself goes, it looks very solid. It looks like the new Beatdown/Control (AKA "Aggro") standard build for the April bans. I can't really see anything to suggest, except maybe...
I have a lot of other options, but I can definately see CEDevice coming in very handy... I need another copy and I'll test a few. That's a fix I can see happening.
Well IMO, I think you should play it out here adding a King Tiger Wanghu ( I know it sounds stupid) But for those who run those weenies that can be a hazard to us big guys, it can eliminate that threat for good
There is absolutely ZERO excuse for not using double crossouts in ANY form of an aggro deck.
-1 Controller
-1 Vortex
What's vortex going to be used for with Gorillas out, meaning either they kill it and summon (1) monster, or they set? Either way, you aren't using Vortex, and it's going to be a fancy smashing ground (very, very expensive) most of the time with a discard cost.
+2 Smash/Reinforcement
Absolutely necessary in any aggro. Not only that, the range of searchables you have is pretty high, and targeted removal > mass removal with cost in any sort of aggro deck. You have EBO for goat trample, so tell me 1 reason you'd use Vortex other than BLS/Jinzo/Airknight on the field at the same time (and then you're dead anyways because the chances of having Vortex are slim).
Wondered what people would say about the Swap over X-Out decision... yeah, I'm going back to the X-Outs. And I'm decking the Smashing and RotA. Sounds good. CEDevice I'll try out once I get another of it... I lack 2 right now. Sadly enough.
Your Monster layout is 2 thumbs up. The cards are either beatsticks or removal. Sweet.
I only have 1 change for this deck in fact. Usually got a few more lol.
The RoTA.
Why?
To get more removal? Sure it's great topdeck, but it doesn't fulfill the essence of aggro enough. The RoTA looks way too much like space filler. You don't need to search for DDs as they should be topping at a balanced rate. In place of it, maindeck Ceasefire!!!! It's Aggro, so be aggressive and get their LP to 0 ASAP. Ceasefire owns your opponent's MoFs and whatnot. With the swarming capabilities of this deck, you can easily slap away a 1/4 of your opponen't LP.
As for the CEDevice/BTH controversy, I think that's a no brainer. CEDevices are horrible. Sure you get 1 open attack, but what about next turn? It's not even removal, just stall/bounce? STALL? IN AGGRO? WTF? No, don't do it. Yes I know people will argue that thanks to a a well-timed CEDevice you can deliver the game-crushing blow, but how many times is that going to occur so it makes you want to use it? That's noob talk right there.
BTH on the other hand is removal and tech against Pyramid Turtles for aggressive moments. Not to mention it owns CCCs and other Aggros.
I don't know why people are suggesting CEDevices, it's just flat out stupid.
Great deck though, Aggro sure was popular like a month ago: 9.4/10
