Well I was reading some coverage of the finals of the shonen jump championship that just recently past. This competition crowned Eric Wu champ and the owner of a cyber stein, but was he worthy. At the end of the last duel Wu used premature burial on his spent BLS, you can't do that can you? It can only be special summoned by its own effect.

If it was first correctly special summoned by removing a light and dark, then yes you can. Here is a scenario:

Player A removes a light and dark to summon BLS-EOTB. The BLS is destroyed by Torrential Tribute. Player A may now use resurrection cards (Burial, COTH, etc) to revive it since it was properly summoned by its effect first.

Scenario 2:

Player A plays Graceful Charity and discards BLS-EOTB. IN this scenario, Player A could NOT resurrect BLS from the graveyard, since it was not properly summoned via its effect first.

In the first scenario, cross out the "not" you have in the third sentence and it will all be correct.
