Perpare for fireworks. Loosely translated Infinitus Igneus means "endless" or "limitless" burning. Rate or Fix this deck and I'll do the same for you. Take a close look...

There you have it. The deck posted is actually what I would sideboard in after I (hopefully) won the first duel. The sidedeck here is how the deck would look in the first round. A very predictable (albeit nice) traditional burn deck.
Monster - 17
2x Lava Golem
3x Stealth Bird
3x Solar Flare Dragon
2x Des Koala
2x Raging Flame Sprite
1x Cannon Soldier
1x Magician of Faith
1x Cyber Jar
1x Sangan
Magic - 11
2x Level Limit - Area B
2x Messenger of Peace
3x Wave Motion Cannon
1x Pot of Greed
1x Graceful Charity
2x Scapegoat
If I won the first round with this I'd let my opponent side his own anti-burn measures and then side in the Infinitus Igneus. It's actually built upon the skeleton of a discard deck I was planning to make. I felt that the same principles of speed and card advantage could be used in a dedicated burn deck. Tsuku and her favorite novels, Book of Moon and Book of Taiyou, are the stars of this deck. The versitility of both Tsuku and BOM is phenominal.
The idea is (obviously) to flip and burn. Reuseing the flip effects over and over at the fastest speed possible until my opponent is dead. Des Wombat isn't that much of a deal as Tsukuyomi and BOM can flip him down and rack his 300 point defense. Morphing Jar and Cyber Jar are in the deck because of something I realized about playing burn nearly two years ago (yes, it's been that long), that in a burn deck, cards are everything. That's true for every deck yes, but especially for burn. A beatdown, or a Chaos variant can win with very few cards and almost no field presence but a burn needs lots of cards established on the field to win. In fact, when burn loses it's usually because they had little or no establishment of field presence or they lost it at the hands of card removal.
So Cyber Jar here is obvious, but Morphing Jar is abit unexpected. He dosen't give field establishment but he contributes to hand size. An unfortunate result of a burn decks need to establish many cards on the field is small hands sizes, another cause of defeat for these decks. And Morphing Jar also has mad synergy with Des Koala, for a cool 2000 points after it's activation.
A line from one of my favorite movies, Ghost in the Shell, says something like this. "If you overspecialize, you breed in weakness." So true. There are thousands of possible burn variants out there and as burn players, we need to find and play them in order to compete with the current cookie cutter. Burn has survived Beatdown, Basic Control, and Cookie Cutter Chaos Control. Will it survive the more recent Chaos/Warrior/Zombie/Phoenix CC? It will if burn players try out new ideas and original, innovative tactics. Because, at it's core, burn has always been about innovation. R/F either or both deck builds and I'll R/F yours, guaranteed. Burn decks especially. :noid:
I would say take out the magic jammers and a LL-AB for a nother cannon soldier, raging flame sprite, and a secret barrel as regeki404 said. I really like and agree with the idea of MJ #1 and cyber jar. I give the deck a 9.5/10. It looks like it would be really hard to stop even for chaos lol.
Hey thanks for looking at my deck. Your deck looks really good. I don't have much experience with constructing burn decks so I don't have much advice. I do like the way you can side deck angainst someone's anti-burn side deck and then catch them off guard again.
I would say that your deck is constructed quite nicely. All I would comment about is the fact that you don't pack Secret Barrel or even the famous Just Desserts! Those Ojama Trio that are in the deck count toward the JD and SB count, making the damage rack up eventually. In my current burn (not the one you fixed), I run about 22 to 23 traps I think. Having 3 Ojama Trio, 3 JD and 3 SB. Anyway, I don't really see any other problems with the deck. What to take out, I'm not really sure. I can tell you that with my metagame, I would replace the Flame Sprites and 1 Stealth Bird along with the Cannon Soldier. I hope this helps!
I like your burn style. As for fixes, the only thing I disapprove on is Jammer. It's good but you got really good burn/stall cards that are hard to discard just to negate a magic card. I side deck in either more burn or Dust Tornado cuz I know when you finish the 1st round they'll play more m/t destruction so I surprise them by using their own ploy against them but it's just my opinion.
Hm, it seems everyone is in agreeance that magic jammer=bad and secret barrel=good. I like the idea but I only have two problems with it.
One. While I think secret barrel might be good for the traditional deck to be played in the first round, it might not be too good after I side. This is because since the second round deck relies so heavily on flip effects, I really don't want them to get crossed out. Well, except Magician of Faith. If they cross her out thats minus two cards from my deck (deck thinning) and minus their magicians of faith as well so they can't retrieve their MSTs and Heavy Storms.
Two. Even if all that weren't true I have a pet peeve when it comes to cards that are "pure burn." By "pure burn" I mean cards that burn and burn only. Cards like Just Desserts, Tremendous Fire, Meteor of Destruction, Secret Barrel, etc. These cards have no versitility beyond burning the opponent. Ceasefire flips and burns, Cylinders negates and burns, and Ojama Trio clogs, gives Lava Golem fodder, and burns all at the same time. In fact, the only "pure burn" I like to put in my decks is Wave Motion Cannon. And even then WMC serves as a distraction to my opponent and forces them to choose between removing it or removing a stall card.
I do think I'll add another Cannon Soldier to the first round deck, though. Offset the use of those scapegoats. Thanks for all your replies and I'll make sure to R/f anyone's deck who has or does post an R/f. :noid:
It's well put deck. I like it...abuse with Des Koala....9/10. I agree in adding Ojama Trio and Just Desserts...1500, possibly more at one turn is pretty good.
I love that side-decking use. It's VERY nasty. I did something like that once, except it was a burn deck that transformed into an Exodia deck, or vice-versa. They'd side deck all that m/t removal, and then, my m/t field was the least of their worries. Decks that work like that are VERY nasty. They focus on getting that first win, and then after that, if the opponent blindly falls into the trap, that second win is near-inebidle. You do a very good job of fixing Burn deck problems, with the Morphing Jar and Cyber Jar. Jars are indeed burns friends. I myself ran a burn deck for over a year straight, Chain Energy burn, until Chain Energy gradualy lost it's effectiveness as the metagame grew, and I switched to solid burn lockdown. But, last tournament, after no success with a Zombie deck, I switched back to burn, except this time it was a Spatial Collapse burn. Took me first, despite me ahving thrown it together in a mad rush because I was gonna be late. Hope your deck does what it intends to do.

Thanks for the comments. You know, I once ran a very effective zombie deck myself. My first deck was burn but later I tried out an old school zombie deck revolving around Dragon and Armored Zombies along with Gravity bind, and it also ran Shadow Ghoul, 2 Graceful Charities and Giant Trunade for removing gravity bind. Keep in mind this was just before LOD came out so this sort of deck wasn't so bad. I played a zombie deck in one form or another up until ancient sanctuary. Coincedence eh? More recently I've been working on a zombie deck that aims to bust the meta wide open. Thats under wraps for right now though...
The Morphing/Cyber jars are a result of playing burn for along time. Everytime I lost it was to a final blitz on my lp that I couldn't stop for lack of resources. I finally learned to conserve, use, and reuse my resources wisely.
As for the fixes, Just Desserts is a card I've used often in the past, and it just isn't worth it. It does work suprisingly well against burn decks though. I played Giant Germs up until about a year ago. 500 points of damage and them coming in attack mode just came to a point where it didn't cut it anymore. And if I were to run GGs I'd have to run them in threes, they're useless otherwise.
I might try Secret Barrels in the initial deck if the Magic Jammers start to fail me. Also, after playing this deck I've found that Book of Taiyou is the killer among these cards. Seriously, a BOT+Cyber Jar+Shallow Grave is similar to the holy trinity of Graceful, Pot, and Delinquint Duo in this deck. The only difference is the only card that is restricted is Cyber Jar and he's searchable. I want to find a way to fit a third BOT and a third BOM in here. Hmm...
Thanks for all the comments. I will continue R/fing any decks that come and R/f my own. Oh, yeah. BeyondLegends, if you have a deck for me to R/F, post a link to it and I'll do so.:noid:
Ugh, didn't want to have to do this but.......BUMP. BuMPitY, bUMpiTY, BuMp!!! This thread has now been bumped. Anyone with comments, R/fs, or just rants on this deck, post here, now!. Or else... A special offer is going on right now, for a limited time only, if you R/f my deck, I'll do the same for you!!! Wild ain't it? In fact, your deck(s) may have already been R/f'ed by me, but if you don't R/f my deck you'll never know!!! R/f now, you'll only regret it later. :noid:
With your build set up the best your oppenent can do is attack with a weak 3 star monster or a monster with 1500 or less attack, so cylinder isn't even worth keeping in here. Instead add in one or wave motion cannon in order to expect to drawing it more often and dealing some quick damage right of the bat.
- Messenger of Peace
+Cannon Soldier
The cannon soldier is to be able to finish off the game fast near the end after your oppenent barely has any life points left and launch everything to end the game there.
- Magic Jammer
- Magic Jammer
+Cursed Seal of the forbidden spell
+Cursed Seal of the forbidden spell
Cursed Seal of the forbidden spell ensures that your oppenent can't activate MST or heavy strom for the rest of that duel.
The both decks looks great.
9/10 First one
9.5 Second one
By the way, can you r/f my deck? Thanks in advance. :)
PS. Thats the same offer I made a month back except I let them get an extra 2 free rates.
