Please just don't even post here. This deck is PERFECT. This should be stickied or something so that everyone can admire it for years to come.
Yeah, I know it's not perfect. I'm just VERY happy with it right now. It's the product of A LOT of test play.
Torrential Tribute and Dark Hole are both overrated during this current format. Try taking them out, you might like it.
My logic behind Royal Keeper:
Well I noticed after extensive test-play that 90% of all the monster removal being played exists as face-up removal. The strategy behind Royal Keeper is simple. Attack, flip face down, and repeat. A lot of times my oppenent is sitting idle with a Brain Control, Snatch Steal, and Smashing Ground in their hand while I'm pounding away with Royal Keeper. It's at least decent tech...for now.
I see.. This indeed has very great potential, though im not sure what ryu kokki offers for this deck, other than beat down, Maybe you could further your stradegy by using Giant Axe mummy and shifting shadows? i dunno, might be worth a try.
Of course, thats just me, im more into tech then beatdown, but go right ahead and do as you please, as i cannot and will not stop you from doing just that
- Reinforcements of the Army
- Dust Tornado
- Giant Rat
- Confiscation
+ Royal Keeper
+ Dark hole
+ Torrential Tribute
+ Book of Moon
I'm really not sure about the tributes you're running. BUT I do like the Royal Keepers. In fact, so much that you should up the count to 3. They remind me a LOT of Magic creatures with a term we call "evasion", and those are generally sweet for getting through untouched. I don't care HOW good you are, or how undefeated your deck is, but Dark Hole and Torrential Tribute are auto-includes in just about every deck of the format. I'm Pyrofire14... The pimp of card advantage. Esspecially in this format, it is vital. So add those 2 staples back in... Or else! :)
2) With the seemingly interminable amount of monster removal currently present in the format, your oppenent will seldom possess a sufficient amount of monsters to allow you to net more than (0) advantage from Dark Hole or Torrential Tribute.
The initial build included BOTH Dark Hole and Torrential Tribute; however, the deck's performance was slightly preferable subsequent to their removal.
wow ive changed my mind about what i was going to say about this...
its very umm... Unique i like the royal keeper idea ill use it now ^_^
try a phoenix in here and maybe toss v-lord for kokki and reinforcement for trunade if you try it you might like it ^_^
if you wish please look at the deck in my sig please it needs help from a perfeckt duelist... againg GREAT deck
It's pretty hot, yes. But it isn't perfect and it loses to any form of straight control. Airknight is random and horrible, so drop it for a kokki or vlord. ;D other than that looks hot.
