basic skill drain deck.. lemme know what you guys think... suggetions are appreciated..

any suggetions? iv been workin with the deck its doin pretty good.. lost a few games.. but i need this deck to be better

I'd give this deck a 7/10. :)

firstly
- both fake traps
+ 2x 7 tools of the bandit (Fake trap is only going to be good in one situation - one of your skill drainers getting squished. 7 tools is a more versatile card, although you might want to add a dian keto or two to compensate for the life points lost)

secondly
- Card Destruction
+ Gravity Axe (or Reload if you wish)

now if im wrong forgive me does nimble momnga work since his effect resolves in the graveyard? if so that might be better than diane keto ;)

take out fake trap, both of them, for z tools or solemn judgement. with royal decrees out and about you will want to stop them from activiting. go with zombra over the gorillas if you have. more attack is the only reason.

if you summon fusilier w/o tributing and play skill drain, its attak will return to normal

why not try a warrior skill drain build
now the prmise of this deck would be a basic warrior swarm deck that makes use of the several warrior sub-type cards that still get their effects even if skill drain is on the field plus the ones whose effects usually aren't all that great

2x DD Assailants (resolves in the graveyard thus skill drain cannot negate)
1x exiled force (same as DD Assailant)
2x slate warriors ( still reduce the attk of the monster that destroys them by 500 pts)
2x giant kozaky ( i use these with creature swap to do some burn damage or if skill drain is on the field it is a 2500/2400 4 star beat stick)
3x nimble momonga (to regain life points spent on skill drain)

2x reinforcments of the army
2x warrior returning alive
2x a forces (gives warriors a good boost 1 goblin attk force alone comes out at 2500/0 ...nice:))

Traps 10 - 11

2 - 3x Skill Drain
2x fake trap (stops opponets heavy storm, mst, pheonix, breaker as well as trapsit is more versitile)
1x torrential tribute
1x call of the haunted
2x dust tornado
2x sakaretsu armor


the way this is set up even if your opponet side decks for skill drain wou still will have a functioning deck :devious: :devious:
