Ok everybody, if u came to this post thank you so much. i have been wanting to work on a wind deck ever since i started Duel Monsters back in 2000, and i think that there is enough material out for me to be ready and accept my challenge. dont all of u get sick of people in your meta running the same , deck, after deck, after deck, after.....zzzz, huh? what ? oh, sorry, fell asleep because of no CREATIVITY ! anyways, damn you Control ! back on track, i need anyones and everyones help with wind, don't worry about me not having the cards you suggest , cuz i have them, and if u run wind, rock on ! and feel free to post your guyses wind opinions and tactics cuz i really need them !
" if your feeling defeat, know defeat, and fear defeat, you might as well quit this game."
Yea dude there is plenty of monsters to choose from halfdemon has the example, just make a deck out of it fun or tournery worthy it doenst matter.Ninja Lady Yea is a cool card I ran here along time ago but she is good. This deck isnt that hard to make have u checked Deck Depot?Maybe you should check there and get some answers u will find that right wind deck.
do u think an earth deck would be at an advantage over wind, which one do u think i should play ? i go to tournaments every weekend so i need a tournament worthy deck, capapble of beating out aggro and control,
Yeah I think Earth decks are more powerful than wind decks.Because they have more support, some better monsters.I say u run earth I currently run beast but i had run an earth aggro before.GO WITH EARTh I think there isnt enough support for wind anyway.

Depends on your taste and how well you can run the cards....Wind and Earth both have good cards to use. It all comes down to how well they're played by the duelist.
yeah i ran an beast and beast warrior deck, they fuggin rock dude, i just think that i am going to agree with u on your opinion nick and stay away from the wind cuz like u said they dont have enough support and i dont know if they ever will so if i am going to run earth how do u guys think that i should do it, i have multiples of like every card so dont worry about me not having them, anyways thats all for now, until u guys reply i am gonna go work on my aggro earth deck !
Wind is pretty versitile, people do dismiss it, going for the obvious Earth and sometimes Water, but Wind does have some very good qualities to them.
They have very good speed, and most of their "toolbox" monsters are 1500 attack or lower, Lady Ninja Yae (spell/trap disruption), Twin-Headed Behemoth (field presence), and even the Sasuke Samurai provides both the benefits of being WIND and Warrior. Plus, they have some good attack strength power in Slate Warrior and Armed Dragon LV3 to LV5 which just adds to the speed.
Gyroid, Jetroid, both useful monsters as well, and that Wind trap Miyabi adds a new type of protection and spin for a Wind deck, bouncing cards to where they wont be seen for duel again.
Drillroid
Bezerk Gorilla
Enraged Battle Ox
The Rock Spirit
Gigantes
Ancient Gear Golem(only if u can get it out)
Granmarg The Rock Monarch
Dark Driceratops
Magician Of Faith
Cyber Jar
those are some earth monster examples u could use......
For magics u can use.
Gia Power
Gia Power
Terraforming
Snatch
Heavy Storm
Mystical Space Tyhpoon
Noble-Man Of Crossout
Jar Of Avarice(when it comes out MUST HAVE)
Smashing Ground
Smashing Ground
Scapegoats
well u get the idea on the magics
Traps
Torrential Tribute
Call of The Haunted
Sakretsu Armor
Sakretsu Armor
Dust Toranado
Those are examples of some of the cards ur gonna need/can use in this deck.Hope this helps u make ur decision.
There is a way to have both you know. I myelf have a hard time running any one type of deck. I always, and I do mean always, provide some diversity. If you have only one type of monster or strategy, then if you go against the wrong opponent, they'll lock you into defeat faster than a lowjack could find you on the highway.
In other words, go with your wind desires. Use the cards that you want. Boost them with Rising Air Current and that one that boots all wind attack by 500 and decreases earth by 400, I forget it's name. and other such cards. And then, back them up with a little earth. Control the "Air and the earth." I mean, Nimble Momonga's are amazing earth creatures and can back up almost any strategy imaginable.
You can even use your earth to defend your lifepoints and monsters, and use the wind to attack your opponents. Just my opinion though.
This is'nt a game where elements really have weaknesses other than providing support. use the elemental charmers wind trap. It's monster removal at it's best by tributeing something like sonic jammer after flip summoning it to the trap the opponents monster goes to the bottom of their deck.
I disagree in the logic that somehow earth will aid wind. just build a wind deck and if your not sure about it you can put in basic staples:
breaker the magical warrior
sangan
magician of faith
d.d. warrior lady
smashing ground
they support the theme and as for nomunga that's going to really make jar of avarice great in your deck when it comes out.
So you have a bunch of wind monsters and Rising Air current on the field. Well, I summon Breaker and remove a token to destroy your Rising Air Current....otherwise known as Breaking Wind. ;) Yes I am 2. Thanks

While you are correct in that this game does not state that one element is stronger than another, that was not my intent with what I said. I was merely pointing out that if you think like that, as in wind will be beaten by earth, then you have to think outisde the box a little. No one type of monster can survive on it's own; I firmly believe that. Each needs at least one other type to balance the power, and if you think of power as element and not type then so be it; but my belief holds true no matter what you do.
