First, I'd like to say that Dark Paladin is still a great theme. However, trying to combine it with a warrior/spellcaster build will not be the greatest idea, mainly because those builds only benefit warriors in the end, and I'm assuming that's not what you want. (look at A. Forces. It helps warriors. Mysterious Guard also relies on warriors). So, I believe you shouldn't go that route.
If you want Dark Paladin control, then focus on Dark Paladin. What you have is Dark Paladin and alot of other elements. Guardian Sphinx, a nice card, does not belong. Dark Magician Girl will only hinder what you are trying to achieve, which is Dark Paladin. Include the best card for this deck, King of the Swamp (AST - rare). Or go for fusion subs so that you may decrease the amount of tribute monsters, because having both Dark Magician and Buster Blader can ruin you from time to time. And as for the Dragons, if you want field control, then Luster and Spear Dragons are good. But I think it would be better if you had Masked Dragons instead. They provide field presence and thin the deck. They are also 3-star, 1400 ATK monsters, so no stall cards will be stopping it.
As for spells, you'll wish you'd have decked Nobleman and Mystical Space Typhoon during a match.
As for traps, you'll find some of them to not work in your favor at any point in a match, namely Spell Vanishing and IMT (side deck this card).
