I tried to do something a little different with Spellcasters, and now I'm trying to do something a little different with Warriors. It's a lockdown deck, ideally your have Silent Swordsman LV7, Hades, and Royal Decree on the field at the same time, so your opponent can't do jack and you can beat on him with your warriors. Maybe you have two Marauding Captains on the field at the same time, sealing their attacks, too. Without further ado: The deck.

The deck sounds pretty good and right now im running a warrior deck, but mines not quite as thought out. I would give your deck a solid 7/10 :)
Thank you. It's really not extraordinarily well thought-out, I put it together this morning since I wanted to build something with Warriors in it that wasn't the toolbox. Now, if I can come up with a way to get around Breaker and Exiled, then, I can consider this deck to be perfected.
Edit: Exiled can be defeated, I decided, by The Warrior Returning Alive and Premature Burial. Breaker can be defeated by the fact that there is more than one Royal Decree in the deck, and nobody runs Thieves' Seven any more, and maindecked Solemn Judgments are rare. The real threat to the lock is the Dimension Family- D.D. Warrior, Warrior Lady, and Assailant. The answer to them, then, is Dimension Fusion on my turn with a Mystic Swordsman in play. Two should be good. Where to put them?
Sideboard so far:
King Tiger Wanghu x3 (Stein can beat out the lock too)
Dimension Fusion x1 (For Chaos-heavy decks)
Nobleman of Extermination (For Chaos-low decks)
But that's it. Can anyone think of any decktypes that I can't lock out?
Reload got this really bad rap a while ago for terrible hand management. Has the opinion on it changed? I know I'm missing something, but why no dark hole or premature burial? Recursion is never a bad thing, especially for silent swordsman lv 5, or what have you, and dark hole is always useful.
edit: wow...I can't believe I didn't see premature burial. Sorry, lol. I don't think putting dark hole in necessarily makes you rely on it. I see what you're saying about the disadvantages outweighing the advantages in this deck, though.
I don't really know what people are saying or not saying about Reload. I don't think it's bad hand management, it's a -1 sure, but getting a new hand may well be worth it in a deck with a number of sacrifice/ss monsters like this. Premature's in there, the spell list is alphabetized so it should be easy to find when you go check me on this. Hole... Well, in this deck I'm much more likely to have a monster on the field than my opponent, so it's more likely to blow my attack seals or my reverse seal. It's also soon to be banned, assuming all goes well, so I don't want to rely on it too much.
What about LV Up!s or soul exhanges?
They gives help with lv monsters and tributes anyway, and most of the time you get 1 card in round, meaning you will must set MS LV 4/6. on the other side, I don't think 3 MS LV 2 are worth running because you have 2 warrior returning alive and only monster they beat for level up in metagame is normally Sheep token. All others gets destroyed by his effect, not as a result of battle, and he not get leveled up.
Don't want put Jinzo in for Total Trap ban? Not needed in this deck, indeed, but Dust Tornado is still chainable.
Also counter-traps will not get negation by Jinzo or Decree because they are Sp speed 3 and negation make still a chain link, even its unchainable. :o
:knockedou
The Decree only gets activated in response to things. Not quite as bulletproof as Jinzo, but I frankly don't need another sacrifice. I've already discussed what's happening with the Mystic Swordsmen. Level Up could work over Nobleman of Extermination... Then again, it might not.
Monsters (21)
3x Mystic Swordsman LV2 ( I don't think you need 3 of these, the most i'd run is 1, because it could come in handy)
-2 mystic Swordsman
3x Marauding Captain (with 2 reloads and 3 of these how often do you have cards in your hand) I'd probably only run 2 of these that's always seemed to work for me
2x Command Knight
1x D.D. Assailant
1x D.D. Survivor
1x D.D. Warrior Lady
1x Don Zaloog
1x Exiled Force
2x Mystic Swordsman LV4
3x Silent Swordsman LV5 (mucho tribute monsters and no pot of avarice to get you back monsters ... seems dangerous, I'd Run 2 and consider
1x Mystic Swordsman LV6
2x Silent Swordsman LV7
- 2 mystic swordsman lv 2
-1 Marauding Captain (just because if need be you can search out with reinforcements)
-1 Silent swordsman lv 5
maybe -1 don zaloog
+2 Shining Angels (will be able to search D.D. Warrior Lady and... also feeds pot of avarice that i want to add)
+1 or 2 Silent Swordsman lv 3 ( if you search it out with Shining Angel you'll get a Silent Swordsman lv 5 out on your turn)
Magic (15)
1x Dimension Fusion
1x Mystical Space Typhoon
1x Nobleman of Crossout
2x Nobleman of Extermination
1x Premature Burial
2x Reinforcement of the Army
2x Reload (I'm not sure about these cards they've always been terrible for me)
2x Smashing Ground
1x Snatch Steal
2x The Warrior Returning Alive (drop one of these for a pot of avarice)
What's the point of Dimension fusion here -- is it just to get back your d.d.a and d.d.w.l if so it doesn't seem worth it to me and a terrible top deck. And this deck already looks to do that a bit ... I'd consider changing these spells a bit, but I'm not totally sure how you should work with it.
Trap (5)
1x Call of the Haunted
3x Royal Decree
1x Torrential Tribute
Your traps look pretty standard to me for lock down.
Sideboard (13)
1x Command Knight
3x King Tiger Wanghu (I'm glad to see this)
2x D.D. Designator
2x Dark Designator
1x Dimension Fusion
2x Graveyard in the Fourth Dimension , pot of avarice in main deck covers this this card is junk imo
1x Nobleman of Extermination
The last thing i don't like is the lack of quick play spell cards... a few rush recklessly's would be sweet with the weenie warriors. Fixes are in quotes
Mystic Swordsmen already gone. I'll think about axing the Captain for a SSLV3, and I'll try to make room for a Shining Angel. Dimension Fusion isn't about helping my own strategy, it's about disrupting my opponent's- if they DD'd my Silent Swordsman LV7 out of existence the DF can get it back- but it's been cut. Yeah, Pot of Avarice could work well in this deck, I'll fit it in. Why don't you look at the new version? I must have been editing it while you were posting.
