Allright you all think I am probably stupid for bringing this up but since mirror force came back I just had a question.If you attack and your opponent flips mirror force and then you chain Magical Dimension would that monster that just got summond be destroyed too?I dont think so because chain link 1.Mirror Force,effect goes throught but before it destroys the last monster you flip Magical Dimension would mirror forces effect destroy the special summond monster summond by Magical Dimension.I honestly dont think it would be becuase it wouldnt be on the field for it to happen.Mirror forces effect would resolve and at the last moment right when it ends flip its effect but thats just me can somone help me with this.????Because I am so confused about it lol.

It depends. Mirror Force only destroys things in Attack Position. I assume it would work like this.

You attack your opponent's Lord of D. with Dark Magician Girl
Your opponent activates Mirror Force in response. (1)
You chain Magical Dimension. (2)

Chain resolves backwards

(2) Magical Dimenion resolves: You Tribute Dark Magician Girl, you destroy Lord of D., you Special Summon your Dark Magician.
(1) Mirror Force resolves: Destroys all Attack Position monsters on your side of the field.

If you Special Summoned Dark Magician in Attack Position, Mirror Force would destroy him.. However, if you were smart and summoned him in Defense Position, he would be safe.

You are wrong in one case, right on another but for the wrong reasons...

If the monster you special summoned is in Attack Mode, then it will die... if you bring it out in Defense mode then it survives...

Why? Because of the order of the chain...


Action: Declare an attack
Chain Link 1: Mirror Force
Chain Link 2: Magical Dimension

First Magical Dimension would go off, in this case you will be tributing your attacking monster and special summoning a new Spellcaster...

Then Mirror Force resolves and destroys all of your face up monsters that are in Attack Position, which includes your newly summoned monster...

So, you are only safe if you bring out a defense monster...

Yea but theres is another thing.That monster that was special summond during Magical Dimension effect shouldnt be destroyed because it was there for the effect to work with mirror force.It is a new summon and it was Mirror Force was played first and then u chained with Magical Dimension so its.

Chain Link 1.Mirror Force

Chain Link 2.Magical Dimension



I just dont see how that monster would be destroyed it shouldnt be effected by the effect of mirror force because it just hit the field.

Uhh yo, the chain link resolves backwards...

So Magical Dimension first, then Mirror Force...

Mirror Force's effect doesn't go off until its turn in the chain has come...

Anything on the field can be affected... no matter where it came in the chain...
