It has been a long time since dropping a reviewable deck in the Depot and a few even asked, "Phenom, what happened to you??" The answer is simple, truthful, and somewhat hard to believe....
As a formidable duelist as I am, March of 2006 was honestly my worst month of dueling as long as I can remember. No local tournament wins, and drops in both the SJC Orlando tourney & next day Regional. I basically scrubbed the whole month. And while other members of Team Kenshin (North & South) seems to progress, my play seemed a bit "burned out". Through all that, there was still a stroke of genius left in me despite the overextension and it almost netted Team Kenshin a Des Volstgalph....Overall, I still consider SJC Orlando to be another positive learning experience (through talking with some big name players)
Since then, I gave a 2nd look to certain cards that I really saw no need in running and decided to give some of them a try...The result was a rebirth in speed, aggression, and control. With this newfound speed, a newly changed Banned/Restricted list and a good amount of time & resources, I took this "newly rejuvenated" Dragon Control deck and so far, it has 1 tournament win with a 7-1 record.

The 1st Trap lineup is the one played with, going 7-1. It's possible that I could stick with this one due to the heavy rotation of Mobius the Frost Monarch & opposing Cyber Dragons as well as the increased play of Goldd & Sillva.
Well, you know the usual....Rate it, give me your comments, offer fixes, and all that other good stuff.....
Mm, Horus deck. Usually with the Black Flame I roll out with 1x TT 3x Decree, but of your two trap lineups I'd stick with the first one. More versatility imo. Also I'd -Mind Control and +MST. You need trap control more than monster control with Horus.
Yeah, i would stick to the first trap line-up. I enjoy seeing Jar of Greed in here and have decided to try it out. With all of the Mobius being used nowadays, you can just put it out there as bait and chain when they try to destroy it via mobius/other removal, it's great. Other than that, i say this list is golden and that all you need to do now is find a good sideboard for the deck and you'll be fine.
