Buidling a competitive deck. Possibly just another Cookie from the jar.
Thank you first and foremost for viewing this thread. I am in desperate need for some decent help and suggestions on how to make this deck a bit more competitive. Any and all advice is welcome and appreciated. Here is the line-up and I have included the side deck and fusions as well. I am hoping that in the very near future I can get a second Zaborg The Thunder Monarch. If this happens I will change the monster line up just a tad to make room in the main deck for it. Thank again for taking the time to view this deck and for any suggestions you may have
Thank you for the suggestions. I will consider trying those out. I wish I could test the deck against someone before saturday but alas I am a lone duelist in my town of 696 people.
Maybe another time, I don't like text duels that much. I found that alot of people are dishonest, not saying you would be but I only text if the mood strikes me.
Ok, as I stated on your trade thread, a fairly sizeable change up to what you have listed.
I am not sure how much you would consider not running the Monarchs, or at least siding them but let me throw this one at ya. I will be pulling this from memory so I may miss a card or 2. I will look at it when I get to work in the morning to double check.
Chaos Sorceror
Jinzo

Thats 40 cards but I think I'm missing something or maybe have something wrong. Anyways, this is more or less what I've been running for the last couple/few weeks, or at least since regionals. Get this, I took my Red-Eyes deck to regionals. I came out with a record of 1-6 but I had a blast. I am one of a select few, I'm sure, that can actually say "I had Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon on the field at regionals". Not that that is anything to be proud of really, but I had a good time. Bah, blah. blah...
Oops, stay focused, back to the topic on hand. Your deck as is looks pretty solid. The only real suggestion I could throw at ya is to replace a Smashing Ground with Lightning Vortex. I used to hate that card because at best it seemed to be nothing more than a 2 for 2 card exchange. But now that the frog is around, it's almost like having Sinister back.
The other suggestion would be to use my build :cheeky: , just kid'n. Anyways, let me know about the SJC, if your going to attend one or not and when and where it's gonna be.
Well, that's enough outta me for now, later.
(*edit)
P.S.
you would need to add a few fusions such as:
Reaper on the Nightmare
Sanwitch
Cyber Blader
Labyrinth Tank
Gatling Dragon
Cyber Twin Dragon
Cyber End Dragon

Scrogg, thanks man. I am checking this build out and it looks awsome. However there are some slgiht problems, I don't have Blowback, Phoenix, Ctien and not half the fusions I would need to pull it off. Gatling Dragon and the Cybers. I am thinking of using Lightning Vortex though. With me running Chaos Sorcerer in multiples, dumping cards into the gy is a good idea. It does have a definate advantage. Thanks aain. I wish I could run this build though.
By the way, getting Red Eyes Darkness on the field at regionals IS something to be proud of. ESPECIALLY in today's format. Kudos to you my friend!
