With the release of Macro Cosmos, many people in my area (including myslef) are testing the M&Ms deck (Macro and Monarchs). There are a few problems we have had with D.D.S's effect and I hope anyone can help. Note:Assume Macro Cosmos is active during these situations.
1. If D.D.S is flipped face down and is attacked and removed, will he still come back? Here is the situaton and how we resolved it:
I Summon Tskuyomi, flip down opponet's DDS and attacked. He brings DDS back at the End Phase. I say it can't be done. We look it over with a few other people and came to the conclusion that DDS is flipped face up when attacked and is removed face up, so he returns at the EP. Tell us if we are right or wrong.
2. My opponet takes control of my DDS, attackes with it, I remove it. Does DDS come back to my feild or my opponets?
3. Same as #2, but my opponet Snatched and flipped DDS down and up to get rid of Snatch. Again, which feild will it come back on?
If we encounter any more problems, I'll come back later. Thanks in advance to anyone who gives a correct ruling(s).

1. D.D. Survivor is flipped face-up during Damage Calculation, and therefore would be removed from play face-up.
2. D.D. Survivor will always be on "your" side of the field, no matter who controls him but he will return to the owner, when he returns from RFG, and you are the owner.
3. D.D. Survivor has now become your opponents monster, as permanent control has been established. He will return to your opponent as long as he is not sent to the Graveyard or returned to hand.
If this face-up card on your side of the field is removed from play, this card is Special Summoned to the owner's side of the field during the End Phase.
I think the bolded part pretty much covers all your questions:
1. He does return.
2. He doesn't return. woo0, wasn't he talking about removing it on the opponents side of the field?

He didnt seem to insinuate that his opponent had permanent control, so I naturally assumed that it was a situation where it was Brain Control or some other temporary control effect.
In that case, the RFG will remove, or "reset" the effect and Survivor will return to its owner and not the opponent.

Say my opponet takes control of my DDS through Snatch, Brain Control, Creature Swap, etc. and I destory it with one of my effects like Sak. Armor, Mirror Force, attacking, etc. Where would DDS end up after he is removed?

Being specific helps. There really shouldnt be a "etc", as you only have two situations:
Permanent Control
Temporary Control
If you have permanent control, such as established by cards similar to Monster Reborn and Creature Swap, D.D. Survivor is basically your monsters as long as he is not destroyed and sent to the Graveyard. That is the one place ALL control effects are removed (and return to hand and deck as well).
So, in the case of cards similar to Brain Control, that establish Temporary Control, D.D. Survivor will return to the last person who had "Permanent Control" of him before he was removed from play. Since your opponent did not have Permanent Control, it will return to you, the Owner.
If your opponent gains control by cards similar to Creature Swap, that establishes Permanent Control (but not ownership, so you still get your D.D. Survivor to go home with!!! lol), D.D. Survivor will return to the last person who had "Permanent Control" of him before he was removed from play. Since YOU did not have Permanent Control, it will return to your Opponent instead.
i know the rulings on him, and every one says he returns to the feild if he's destroyed when cosmos is on the feild, but.....doesn't the word "destroyed" mean that he's not being removed from the feild
sorry if its kinda lame, but...could some one help me

Macrocosmos prevents cards from being sent to the graveyard it removes the cards from play instead... so D.D. Survivor IF IT gets destroyed WHILE face-up on the field AND with Macrocosmos in play, instead of being DESTROYED and sent to the grave it will get DESTROYED and removed from play.

Your wrong. he has to be face up on your side of the field, AT THE TIME HE IS REMOVED FROM PLAY. If he is removed from your opponents side, no matter why he is there, he doesn't come back.

No, you're wrong, D.D. Survivor doesn't care who is controlling it when it gets removed from play.
Well, yeah, I know that message and all. The way the text is, actually, makes it NOT care about whos side it's on (since if it's on the opponent's side and it gets removed, it's still "your side" in terms of controller, lol)
