I think I read this online somewhere but the people at my tournament don't follow. They claim that when I summon tsukuyomi I can't select a opponents scapegoat as it's effect target (fliping it down) because tokens can't be flipped down. However I seem to recall reading that they are valid targets being monster s and do to the absense of a reverse side the target token is destroyed.
similar in some respects to morphing jar #2's effect when working with scapegoat (scapegoats are destroyed but being tokens and not cards they can not be returned to the deck to be counted for the summoning effect)

can someone find me the correct ruling?
Tokens can only be changed to defense by the effect of Swords of Concealing Light. That is the ONLY effect that can change a Tokens position, that calls for a monster to be flipped face-down.
No other effect can select or "target" a Token that would place it face-down on the field. Not Book of Moon, Desertapir, or Tsukuyomi.
Yep..even tokens that SEEM to have a "side-effect" (ie. Ojama Trio) are not an effect of any tokens themselves, but the effect of the card that summoned them.
