Looks good to me, although I'm not sure what the point of Scapegoat is in your deck if you can't Tribute them. I'm not too familiar with Spellcaster decks, though, so I don't know what to recommend switching it for. It looks pretty good, though, so I'd say it gets a 8/10.

Oh, ignore me, didn't realise you could tribute the tokens for Special summons. Revise my rating to a 9/10.

why would i take DM out with all the support it has in here? But trunade is a good idea to re-use the power stone.... Any idea of what to take out for a little tribute doll!!!

Spellcasters decks are so........easy to beat because you already know whats in the deck. Spice it up, its a great deck and fun to play, but throw something new into it. But overall I like it.

I would shy away from the Sorceror of Dark Magic. It has a great effect, mind you, but it's not worth the resources. While you may have gotten out Chaos Sorceror for "free" I'd like to keep the Chaos Sorceror over summoning the Sorceror of Dark Magic. For one, monster destruction runs rampant. Secondly, Nomis are usually dead draws. Cerberus is situational, you don't need 2. I know you want to stick to the theme, but Peten is an inferior recruiter. Fissures are decent deck fillers, there are better choices. The Power Stone and Miracle Restoring may be with the theme, but are usually dead cards. This deck doesn't strive to be a Spellcaster Return, so the Return can be bumped to the side deck. Solemn is also a better suited sidedeck card.

Chaos Command Magician has a respectable 2400 attack, and a somewhat decent effect. Plus he's LIGHT, so why not? Maxing out (the allowed amount of) Apprentice means quicker games. Old Vindictive takes place of one of those Fissures. If you don't have Lily, then don't put her in, she's just an outstanding Spellcaster. Tomatoes and Apprentices do the recruiter job a lot more effectively than Peten. No, you don't get Peten's effect if you tribute him for a monster, or if he was tributed to Dimension Magic Just thought that should be clear, and in case you didn't know. Rush Recklessly can pump Cerberus to a good 2500, and makes Jinzo users wary of your f/d cards at all times. MST is a must for most decks, Spellcaster decks included. This deck runs 2 GY SPSummons, 2 LV7 monster, and 2 LV6 monsters. If you're stuck with a combination of 2 for your opening hand, chances are, things will not look good. Mallet helps in that department, and can even shuffle in duplicate searchers. Trunades are all purpose temporary removal, my personal taste. And the obligatory random destruction in trap form.

You can Run decree instead of the Sakuretsu/Bottomless, and make your deck around Quickplay spells if you want to. It'd be and interesting variation. If you DO decide that your deck should be a Spellcaster Return, I should mention that Giant Trunade --chain--> Return is a good combo mechanic.

If you really think that they are so easy to beat because you know their contents, why havn't you won Nationals?From of the consant use of Chaos Control it has become rampart, thus you know the decks contents just like this ones. All I have to say is read this article from the metagame about you method of thinking which is half-baked.

smashemtinzo, take the advise iViE posted. His corrections are nice. Also think about droping Pitch Black Power Stone unless your willing to run more Spell Counter Theme mosnters. If you'er not then drop them for something more productive.
