You read that right, neraphys would work well in this deck. It's already running a apprentice engine. And neraphys certainly has a edge over most of the removal options available. metamorphosis lost thousand eyes restrict. That kills it's utility in any sept 1 deck. instead use another creature swap.
The rats will give you fast acces to exiled treeborn and swordsman. This gives you a good toolbox to work with.
