Can a Sentinal move through diagonaly through a square that is next to a wall (inside map)?
I ask because I was in a tourney where I needed to move my full movement to get to the enemy. If I went one more square over I would be 1 square short of the enemy...
Now a regular fig can do this but can the Big Fig Sentinal do this?
My opponet said no because the Sentinal would *fit* correctly trying to do it at an angel
I say that the Sentinal rules say the SEnt moves as a nomal fig...
it came down to a coin toss which I lost.. and thus the game.
I'm not an expert on sentinels (maybe shin will chime in here), but as far as I can tell, that is a legal move....

A Sentinel moves per the standard rules. The player chooses any square adjacent to the Sentinel to begin counting for movement. A Sentinel ignores terrain modifiers for movement, as if soaring. Once movement is counted, the Sentinel must be placed so that its base rests on one of the squares within its movement range.
If you have the sentinel rule sheet, it has a pretty good diagram of the sentinel moving. If you don't have it, the PDF can be downloaded from the WK site.
This is a legal move as best as I can tell from the diagram. Also, you can put the back part of the Sentinel in the 7th square which can squeak out an extra click of movement for the Sentinel.
