It viable but would accomplish nothing. chains work backwards. Sak would try to resolve but is negated by royal decree and then mst destroys royal decree. The chain would have to be Sak Armor and then MST.

Actually no its not like that, his scenario states:
Attack is declared
Chain Link 1: Royal Decree activated
Chain Link 2: MST activated (targetting Decree)
Chain Link 2: Sak Armor activated (targetting attacking monster)

d_w, You didn't even read his scenerio and here you are telling me I'm wrong. Why don't you take a closer look the first time instead of telling others they're wrong. He said he has a Royal Decree f/u already, then attacks. MST would have to be the first thing to resolve in order for Sak Armor to go through, since decree is still on the field.
If Royal Decree is ALREADY face-up on the field, then...
Chain Link 1: Mystical Space Typhoon, targeting Decree
Chain Link 2: Sakuretsu Armor
Resolve:
Chain Link 2: Sakuretsu Armor, but gets negated since Royal Decree is already face-up on the field, not yet gone.
Chain Link 1: Mystical Space Typhoon, destroys Royal Decree.
In the above scenario, it would not do anything. The attacking monster would not be destroyed by Sakuretsu Armor since its effect was negated by Royal Decree while it was still face-up on the field.
That's the impression that I'm getting in what happened...
