Hey I'm a newbie to Magic. I stopped playing Yu-Gi-Oh and want to play Magic. I bought the two player 7th edition starter kit, and I plan on buyin some boosters. Can anyone give me some good advice on deck building, newbie friendly decks, etc. Thanks in advance for all advice.

get with some friends and watch some games played. i think the easiest colors to start with are red and green. prob be best to learn from watching.

Yeah, watching games is the best way to learn the phases and stuff. Red and green are the easiest colors to start out with since green has creatures that aren't that expensive to pay mana for and red has all those direct damage spells.
