Every week we'll put up a "sticky" thread like this one so people can review and discuss the current weeks DC comics.
The threads will stay at the top of the DC Comics forum from Wednesday afternoon until the next Wednesday morning, after which time they'll be "unstuck" and return to their chronological spot in the forum, to be replaced by the current week's thread. Each thread will be marked with the ! icon.

Batman 620 is a really fine read, if you like a film-noir, gritty comic. It's hard not to compare it (the first 22 pages of 'Broken City') to Frank Miller at his best.
I really have to check out 100 bullets.
Wonder Woman 197 keeps things moving 3 issues into Greg Rucka's run. He's got a pretty original take on the Amazon Princess, and he's really taking his time setting subplots in motion.
This continues to get better! A very good story with another heart-stopping ending.
These darn DC books that keep having these types of endings are cool...however, I'm going to gasp in surprise one too many times.
Indigo is really beginning to shine. I know that there was some initial reluctance to work with her, due to previous events, but she is really starting to meld with the team.
I think this team could be the equivalent of the Marvel's X-men..if given the chance.
Metamorpho is such an awesome charcter! Nightwing is one of DC's cooler charcters, and Arsenal just plain rocks!
Great read!

Batman #620:
I liked it. I have my reservations like the parts where Azarello is trying to make Batman "real" as a story. A skin condition/disease is what makes Killer Croc a croc, I don't know if I like that.
It's very difficult to follow a masterpiece like Hush, by the same team who wrote it. It's even more difficult for a new team to do it. No matter what you do, for the next year or so, all Batman arcs will be measured against Hush.
Don't make the mistake of doing that with Broken City.
This story (so far) has a completely opposite feel to it than Hush. Where Hush was fast paced, Broken City is a slow, methodical story. It really has a Maltese Falcon/Dragnet type feel to the story.
I really like the story aspect of it, and look forward to the next issue.
The art however, is atrocious. I almost feel like I've felt with the Flash series following the Blitz story arc, in that regard. After getting the feast of Kollins/Hazelwood to the famine of Dose. In this it's from the feast of Jim Lee to the Famine of Russo.
But again it's a complete change from Hush, and a welcomed one.

Wonder Woman 197.
I love this book not a punch thrown and a good story. I like the tension between her and the protect our children protesters. That was kewl. I also like her new spiritual nature side, hmmm our her powers evolving just in time for issue 200? The Flash guest apperance was kewl and her stance of let the fire burn but not hit the homes was an interesting spin. I also loved the comment that the fan at the book signing. Fan: If you can fly why do you need an invisible jet. Wonder Woman : So I can carry my invisible luggage. Lol Great one liner.
Outsiders no. 5
I agree completely with my buddy Darth Sabre, this book is extremely well done. I laughed out loud when Indigo swore and metamorph said "yes but there not mocking at you they're mocking with you."
Now Jsa is my favorite dc team book but right now outsiders and teen titans are looking to knock the justice league outta the number two slot.
Have a happy BJ.
Zodiac three.
Okay this is getting seriously granola crunchy. I had a hard time following this issue . I am going to give book two more issues than i'll decided to drop it our not. If it's not coherrent by then it wont get better. Note the only reason is that I am staying is because I love science fiction fantasy.
Outsiders # 5:
I didn't like this book at first but it is starting to grow on me. I really don't want to like some of the new charactrers but I am finding myself having no choice in the matter.
WONDER WOMAN # 197:
I think that this is going to be a slower moving title under Rucka. I liked Rucka's Batman and Queen and Country but I don't know if he is doing so great in Wonder Woman and Wolverine. I am withholding my judgement until this arc is over.

That is consistant with the character's first appearance. Over the years they've slowly turned Croc into a mutant with superhuman powers, but originally he was a strong man with a deformity/skin condition. He was also quite smart and nearly took over the Gotham underworld.
