I haven't picked up any Weapon X yet, because of budget, and I don't usually like to read stories where bad guys are the main characters (except Thanos). However. Frank Tieri was the greatest writer Wolverine has ever seen, and I'm thinking I may be missing a sleeper hit here. I know the covers have been great.

So what's the verdict? Should I drop something else to check this out?

Oh wait! I already have a spot since Crossgen cancelled Ruse (insert strong sarcasm and annoyance here).

I continue to pick the comic up, hoping it will get better and that something will happen that will make me glad I've been reading it since the beginning but... I'm afraid to say, it's a rather "blah" read thus far... and dispite the addition of some of my favorite mutants (Sabretooth, Marrow, some of the "Underground" members) this comic still has yet to thrill. I personally wouldn't drop anything to add this comic as of yet. I believe they bring it out in TPB aswell, so I'd check out the first one and see what you think.

If you're looking for a new and VERY good X book I suggest Exiles if you do not already read it. Great "other world" stories in the vein of the show Sliders. Get the TPBs!

I actually enjoy Weapon X quite a bit, but haven't read since issue 7. So I'm a bit behind, hoping to catch up now that I've got my $hit together.

I picked up the latest issue (it was my first I have read of the series) and I really liked it. It was really cool, so hey for what its worth collect it. I am.

I read some of the early issues and I didn't like it much. It wasn't worth the time or effort to even read it for free any longer.

I agree on the Exiles pick.
