Can someone please enlighten me to what Card Trader does?
Card trader lets u shuffle a card in hand back into your deck and draw a card, so if you have any dead weight in your hand(two of the same gadget for example) you can get rid of it. The only downside is that u can only use it once per turn
That might not be a bad idea. Since a Phoenix can be special summoned from my deck from Hand of Nephthys putting it back in and then drawing for it and then summoning the same one from the deck could be profitable. I will test that when it comes out this weekend.
if your wondering what soulreversal is, its based around reversal quiz and fuhma shurikan( u can also use ancient gear tank) it works pretty well but yours turns last about 10 minutes!!!
The reason that ther are no Saks or Widespread is cuz since when Pheonix returns it will destroy any spell or trap cards on the field so I figured that I would run stuff that is chainable and not going to get destroyed by Pheonix. Otherwise Sak Armor is a staple to me. But it early yet and I may throw them in if I see that they are needed. And yes I have seen soul reversal.
the only downfall to card trader is it is not usable the turn you play it.
this is the effect
Card Trader
continuous spell
during your standby phase you can shuffle one card from your hand back to your deck and draw one card from your deck. this effect can only be used once per turn.
because it is limited on when you can use it the purpose kind of hinders.
honestly with the banning of graceful charity they either force players to run the traps you do or run destiny heros. they might have killed cookie cutter decks.

You make a good point. I knew that I wouldn't be able to use it turn one and that is my main hesitation to run it. Plus I kinda would know what to take out for it anyway.
D Heros aren't that bad at least. They could be better, but they aren't horrible.
Banning Graceful didn't kill the cookie. As much as I wish it would have it won't. They will just think of another way to abuse drawing. Such as my cards. Dark World is the deck hindered the most by the ban of Graceful. But then again they are getting Dark World Dealings to cover that loss. And they get 3 new monsters.
There will always be a cookie cutter. Overload to 1 didn't hurt Chimera much. It just made it harder. Who knows what may become the new cc in the coming months. I was betting Gadgets but not with 3 Phoenix around.
It might not be a bad idea for you to test out Dark Coffin. With 3 Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys in the deck, there is a good chance that one gets special summoned from the graveyard while a Dark Coffin is set. I don't know what to get rid of. Just my thoughts. Not a bad deck. If you haven't, would you please take a look at my March 1st deck? Thank you Ford!
you're trying to use that draw engine, and while admirable, I think its going to hurt you with a deck this size.I don't care what anybody says, but a thinner deck is much faster than a thicker deck with more draw power. Do not get me wrong, I don't think your wrong for using it, I just think this isn't for your in a deck like this. Perhaps some of the elements could work....?
How bout just using the jar of greeds? the other parts of that seem like its over loading the deck. you want to be able to get to phoenix as fast as possible and you want to increase the likeliness that you will draw a Cyber dragon and hand on your first turn.
8/10. the deck is ver good right now. just keep working on the deck's balance.
I read a good point on here once that Jar of Greed is a waste of space in decks over 40 cards because the card you would draw by it's effect would have been the card you would have drawn had Jar not been in the deck. It builds the card count up for no reason.
And I can't remember off the top of my head if Phoenix is a 7 star monster or not, but if it is, Tribute Doll could help. You can't attack with it like with Soul Exchange but you'd only need one monster for tribute. And I think it'd work with the tokens from Scapegoat. I know it does with the tokens from Stray Lambs.
