Ok, so when I first opened my pack of cards and saw level down I was exteremley excited. Somebody at my school runs a Horace deck and I was planning to use it. I thought, I just hate it when he negates my smashings, but with this spell card I'll finaly be able to... wait, spell card.
So now I need another way to beat him. If anyone knows anything in particular that is good to stop a Horace deck please let me know. Also, I was wondering if Pulling the Rug works on Lv monsters. Help would be appreciated, thank you.

Specifically against a Horus Deck? I would side deck exiled force, pulling the rug, divine wrath, and any trap cards that destroy a monster i.e., ring of destruction, mirror force. there are alot of cards that can get rid of a monster, most notably pulling the rug, and divine wrath if they are effects. hope this helped. peace.

puling the rug will not work against horus, his effect is continous and is active as soon as he hits the field. It is not an effect like the gadgets or maonarchs that can be countered by pulling the rug. also rus only works on normal summons and horus lv 8 can only be summoned via special summon.

Generally horus players use decree so your best bet is effect monsters

the dd's, exiled force, snipe hunter, newdoria etc etc are all good to stop horus

Thank you. I have actually been trying to get an exiled for quite awhile now. I have posted it on many people's H/W list. I can't even find a warrior deck to buy and get a common one. I do have D.D.'s however and usually they're gone. I'll probably try to get Newdoria and Maneater.

yes, pulling the rug would not work. sorry. but some of the other ones would work.

snipe hunter is your best bet it can take out decree and horus the biggest threat

Make sure to pack extra S/T removal to deal with decree, assuming their running it...
